It was too small when it was first installed. Having upgraded to a sand filter/pump combination from Intex, I came to regret the decision. Only a part of one season was spent using it before it failed. As Intex wasn't under warranty, they replaced it with a new pump, but that as well failed. I myself recently bought a Blue Wave NE6151B Maxi from Amazon and have been very pleased with it. Furthermore, I replaced the return hoses with Intex ones that I bought at the local home center (the Intex ones had developed leaks due to age and/or higher pressure) using adapters that fit a regular 1 1/2 inch
The directions say you should not do this since you will tear the material. As of last year, I was using mine for the 6th time.
The amount of time it takes to set up the liner and poles varies according to what you need to do once you have leveled the whole area. It's a good idea to pre-angle the last two or three connectors so that you can insert them. It takes patience. * The pipes on ours, after only 3 years, have rusted at the connectors. I wish you the best of It has a lot to offer except for this issue. Take advantage of
A SF15110 model from Intex is what I purchased. Since I got mine a few years ago, it may not be available any more. It's possible to get a better deal with a newer model. It was necessary to replace my pump/motor with a different type since the original failed after only one year and the replacement covered by warranty ended after the same time.

It is a lot of money for a pool system that is less effective, but it provides us with the desired results. Only a few days have passed since it was first used. In my opinion, I am not giving it five stars because a) the ladder is a flimsy joke and b) the ground cloth is paper thin and nearly It took us 4 surprises (lack of knowledge on our part) to construct and use the pool when it was first delivered to our apartment. 1) Getting the ground ready for a pool involves a lot of work Ensure you are in full control of your life It took a lot of work to get here but it has paid There is nothing good on the ladder As a result, we feel it should not be used at all. These are flimsy, wobbly, and the type of plastic that holds or shatter (we won't be waiting too long for the former). 2) First of all, we should have thought about it, but now we need to get 50 lbs of #20 silica sand for pool sand filter systems! 4) The small plastic feet that attach to the bottom of the legs need to have enough surface area to support the weight of the pool, unless you place it on a solid surface like concrete or something similar. As a result, we needed to stop filling and lay 12"x12" stones under each leg to prevent them from sinking into the ground. Are we ready? Ok, let's set this up. As an amateur, this is just the start of the season Having no idea what we were getting into, we ended up in over our heads. With a bit of research, a few discussions, and 6 videos, we started preparing for the It is much more important to lay the groundwork than to do It is not realistic to just throw this thing up in a seemingly flat area if you expect to fill it with water. After leveling the ground, adding sand to the bottom (an important step if you don't want to hurt your feet on the pool's bottom), purchasing concrete stones for all 18 legs, we leveled and made sure the stones were 12"x12". I will do so As it turned out, the project involved quite a lot more than we expected. Around 5 to 6 percent. The project took two people five hours to complete non-stop The work must stop (including the ground). The rails and legs of the pool will need to be checked using a level When you add water make sure the legs are checked twice and once again because they tend to shift as the water settles. I did not have too much trouble assembling the pool itself. Starting out proved to be a little difficult and it was challenging connecting the last "T" connector, but other than that, it was a cinch. I am extremely impressed with the product, and the kids seem to love it as well. If you are planning on using your own ground cloth, you may want to invest in one. Our pool was covered with Gorilla ground cloth, which feels like a very thick felt pad and does a great job of reducing friction between your feet and the pool's bottom. We have to pay a pool delivery truck to bring 6k gallons of water each week and we fill the rest over the course of a week with water hoses and torrential rain because we are on a private well system with low water availability. I like the way it looks, and it's working perfectly It is going to be necessary to exchange that ridiculous.
It was never green even after two heavy rain storms. The only thing I had to buy for my 6,968 gallon salt water pool was pool sand, which I had no idea existed. You just pour it into the big grey barrel filter, it cost $18 but I got it cheaper from Walmart than the expensive pool store. There was also a need for 4 -- Approximately 40 lbs. Getting pool salt from Walmart cost me only $4 a bag order online and pick up in-store was the cheapest way otherwise, it would have cost me about 80 dollars to have Walmart deliver it. That was it. If you watch the video, it tells you how to set it up step by step. About eight hours were required to fill up the tank. if you don't want to worry about that, you don't need to do anything about it. Using the strips that came with it, I have been testing levels while filling the pool. The salt has been tossed in as soon as it is full. With this pool you get everything you need. We were so nervous setting it up, and my husband didn't want to do As far as he was concerned, it was going to be a lot of work. However, it's not at all a work! It takes only a few minutes for the filter to run and the pool is clear and ready for swimming. Summer life is now so different. Everyone comes over to hang out now and go swimming. Investing in real estate has been my best decision.
The swimming pool at Intex has really disappointed me. The "ultra Frame" of this pool is really different from other Intex pools we have had in the past. We thought it would be an upgrade over previous ones. In both seasons, we used the tower, but noticed the poles were rusty. We selected this because we had other Intex pools that lasted for much longer, and since we had other Intex pools that lasted for a long time. were only able to use it for two swimming seasons. We are unlikely to purchase another Intex pool in the near future, and I would strongly advise against purchasing this one!.
After we purchased this pool and used it for 3 months, we removed it for the winter, taken it down for storage, and put it away in its original box, dried and cared for so that we could use it again next season. I went to set it up and discovered that the poles were all rusted Intex customer service is horrible! -- Of course I am out of warranty range -- and I contacted them with my problem. An entire leg broke off in half for me. After ordering a replacement leg, I received the wrong one, so I contacted customer service once more who was rude and told me that the leg I had ordered was the wrong one. As far as I am concerned, this will be the last intex product I purchase. Not only does it contain garbage, but the company is foolish too! Basically, the whole set up is a complete disaster! We can't even use it for one season!.
This purchase has left me very unhappy!.
The wood base I built for the legs worked well and the legs were perfectly stable. This is a VERY secure site. Putting together the pool was a breeze and I HIGHLY recommend building a wood deck like mine. For the base, I made a wood frame, screwed the feet into it, and then used interlocking foam mats to cover It doesn't look like this is going away anytime soon.
My husband and I are happy with the pool. The delivery was undamaged. Thank you, Amazon, for a job well done by your delivery guys! In our case, we received a saltwater pump and a sand pump with the pool, and both work perfectly together. We are happy to see the pool clean and clear for our grandchildren. There are 5 very large floats in the pool, and there is still plenty of room for more. I would suggest leveling the area before constructing the pool. Allow two extra feet to work with. The leveler was 73 inches wide and we used a ten foot board, along with blue stone dust. I cannot overstate how important it is to level every square inch, we took the time and I won't lie, it took a while for us to get it right. We will use fake grass around our pool next year to dress it up and we want a better ladder than the one it came with. We'll use fake grass next year and put fake grass in the pool next year. It is not attached to the pool and nearly sent me tumbling backward, plus my 5 and 7 year old almost lost their balance as well. We have our pumps on a table near the pool, so we don't have to bend over.
