Questions & Answers

Can you tell me how tall the people in the pool are?

The space between the two is 4 ft 6 in

Are there any pool liners included with this item? was already planning to buy one, but is there a liner for it too that I need to get as well? I didn't think of it, lol. ?

It is the liner that makes the pool. There are no words to describe how thick it is. A tarp can be placed under it, but sand is not permitted with it. It's been 3 years since I purchased mine! It would be impossible for me to have any other type of dog.

Is there a ladder included in a 10' x 30" but only a 5 foot one?

Although I did not receive a step stool with the 12' x 30", my four foot daughters can climb in without one without issue. Also note that the 30" refers to the height of what is above In reality, the water level is actually a maximum of 24" if it is

There may be a leak in the pool I just received yesterday. Since I was not aware of this until I set it up, I had no idea what it meant. Do I have to return it in a certain way?

Depending on whether it is an Amazon seller or a market place retailer, you might need to contact them. You should be able to return it as damaged if the product you purchased has a hole in it. I just find shipping back a pain, trying to get everything back in the box.

Spending money on this was the best decision I ever made
5/5

It was easy to set up the pool. With ours, we had an uneven patch of land and it lasted all summer, with no bending, rusting, or ripping. It held up to 9 adults. Please read

Maintenance Each time I added 1 cup of bleach, I put 1 chlorine tab on top of it During these two days, the pump was switched on for eight hours per Over the summer, the skies were clear and safe. If you're trying to decide whether to go with an above ground pool or not, I recommend starting with this one. This was the best and most enjoyable party ever.

I used this activity to assist my SPD/anxiety child to feel less anxious in the water and be better A 4-year-old has been following me for a few weeks now The year is Two and a half year old The year is Our part of California is so hot during the summer that it easily gets to 110 degrees for long periods of time
5/5

During the summer of this year, we had roughly 70 days with highs of 100 degrees or more, contrary to our average of 30. There is nothing more important than having a pool. I have four brothers and sisters The year is As a consequence, he is a very nervous kid with sensory processing disorder and anxiety. We spent a lot of time at our friends' houses with pools and held hands. He never ventured into the water beyond his knees, regardless of whether he had a full life vest on or if I offered In spite of my desire to enroll him in swim lessons, he still needed a little pool exposure before I put him in swim lessons, so I put him in some swimming classes after a bit of a buffer. In the summer, we looked into getting a gym membership, but it's $300 dollars a month. As a mom, getting my kids dressed, ready, out the door, using a potty, and packing snacks for any kind of trip is a big deal. While I was still uncomfortable with the idea of paying $300 for a membership, I knew in my heart that we are not going to use it very often due to its complexity. As part of my search, I looked for an inexpensive pool we could set up at home, but it shouldn't have been It would be ideal if it could be shallow enough so that my 2-year-old could stand on it The year is It was old enough for him to stand up in any corner. A pool by Intex caught my eye when I was searching. An Intex pool had been in our house briefly the year before, the kind that had an inflatable top ring. We got it from my sister when she no longer desired it. She bought it used and gave it to us. It failed within hours after the ring was installed, thus the pool was not working. The hole was patched, the hole was filled, and then we found it again, having to throw it away because once again it failed and almost flooded our house. That was why I did not want to deal with any that had an inflatable We found it to be the best fit for our needs. It only has a height of 30 inches (water height maximum 24 inches) so it was perfect for me!

I normally fill it only In addition to always having an adult present, no climbing into the pool on your own, and how to stand up in case you lose your balance and fall into the water, I established pool safety rules with my kids. In the end, I filled it up to the point where they begged me to fill it up to the top. It took us a week to get it done. With the maximum depth of the water at 24 inches, they were able to stand upright with their heads above the water, but then, using a kick board or woggle, they were able to become horizontal to It was a lot of fun to buy dive toys and let them practice reaching down and picking them up (they were going to have to submerge their ears in the water to do this). Our backyard pool was close enough to us that we were able to stay in it every day. Having had it up for two months, I finally decided to drain it today because the temperature has cooled down so much that it is no longer at a safe temperature. I in addition ordered filters, the intex solar cover, a mini chlorine floater, and a net when I ordered the pool. I wrote the following We never used a traditional cover and only resorted to the solar cover when it was a little chilly. My husband did not pick up the chlorine tabs spilled from the floater when the kids played with it. The next morning when I looked inside the jar, I saw that a large portion of the blue design on the bottom of the jar had been ruined by the chlorine tabs sitting on top of it, moving around with the Considering the condition of the lining, and the damage caused to the tabs, I'm unsure if it will last another year in storage. It seems like the lining was damaged by the tabs, not just discoloration but cracking as well. If the damage doesn't hold up for another year, I will 100% buy another next year if the initial damage is too severe. It is my hope that my husband has learned from his mistake not to leave chlorine tabs on the bottom of the pool for 24 hours.

Maintenance was easy, and the water stayed clear just by keeping chlorine tabs in the floating container. It happened once that the pool lining started feeling slimy, and I discovered that the mini chlorine floater had run out of chlorine. The next day I filled it up, and the problem was solved. As for running the filter, I did so after we had finished playing in the pool for a few hours, but I did not want to do it while my kids were in the pool for fear they might get their hair stuck in it. (I might have passed along my tendency for anxiety to my son. )

I have been enrolling my 2 and 4 year olds in swim lessons for the past month and they are so excited about starting next week. Even if it weren't for that, it would have been fantastic. As we wait for a better price, we intend to stick with Intex and especially this style of pool until we can finally put in an inground one. My kids have yet to learn to swim, so I didn't want an in-ground pool until they were familiar with it. This pool is still being used by my kids even though they are 6 and 4 years old. In the next few weeks, we will set it up for summer three. Even though the discoloration on the bottom still exists, the lining is in good shape. The pool does not need to be patched or repaired. My filter did die at the end of the last year (after lasting two summers), so I'm in the market for a new one. Our pool is perfect for them so far, but I hope next year they will be able to swim well enough to make us upgrade to a deeper Intex pool.

It's a little small and rusted after three weeks, but it's still fun to play with
3/5

That is the gift I bought my 5-year-old. The seat is perfect for her, but I can get a little snug when I get in on a float. This pool has a wonderful color to it, and it was easy to install once I got my ground level, which was the hardest part. The only problem I have so far is rust. It took me about 3 weeks after it was put up, and even before we had even taken our first swim, for me to notice rust forming on the rail at the top of the legs where it attaches to the T. I am really disappointed by that. After I take everything down at the end of the season, I will spray everything with a rust proof product to see if that prolongs the life of everything. I just wanted to give you It's really nice to have a cushioned pool bottom, so I put lowe's foam boards under the pool instead of sand.

The pool is sturdy and the size is perfect
5/5

Everything seems to be going well so far. I feel comfortable buying this pool even for my little ones because it is the largest I have ever felt comfortable with. Unlike diving in the deep end, it doesn't require a ladder, so you don't have to climb in as easily unless you are also somewhat tall or older. It took about 45 minutes to get everything set up.

The leak started right after opening the box
3/5

When I set up the swimming pool today, it started leaking right away. It has rained all day, so my kid won't be able to play in the pool After filling up the pool, we noticed that water was coming out of the bottom. We laid the tarp down to cover it and water started pouring out. Intex will contact me once I figure out what to do with it so I can update my review. The following information was updated on June 24th In my correspondence with VMinovation, the seller responded much faster than I had expected. As soon as I receive the new review, I will update this.

A durable material
4/5

I enjoyed it. The setup process is simple. It is a decent pump. I used it all summer without any problems. A skimmer would be so much better. My swimming begins once I remove the floating insects with an aquarium net. I spend about 20 minutes doing this. A single summer has been enough to test the pump's durability. There are some tiny rust spots on the frame and there is some damage to the plastic push-buttons The locks for joining the frame together are so cheap that some of them are only half molded (you just get half a pin as the injection mold ran out of plastic). It just took a few spare pins in the package to put the assembly together. Due to California's dual intakes, the intake strainer's suction is reduced greatly, but it's not mandatory to use it. You can opt not to use the double intake strainer setup. This pool actually has quite a bit of sharp rocks under it, though the material seems strong enough to handle them. I ordered a translucent blue cover and it's just like having a heated cover for it. Abuse of children is not an issue for her. Next season, I plan on getting a bigger one.

The kids enjoyed it very much! I found setting up the system to be We really loved this pool - it went above and beyond our expectations! We had no trouble setting it up and taking it down for the winter
4/5

It was the perfect size for my 3 year old and 2 year old to complete their swim routine, as well as my husband and me to lounge around in! The only reason I can only give it a 4 star rating is because the pump I feel is not powerful enough for the size of the pool. I had to constantly clean it to keep the algae off.
