I am not 100% convinced by the smaller filter. We bought a bigger filter for it, and it works, and it has done so several times since my garden is right next to the pool.
Chlorine tablets, a slimmer, and a pump are all things you'll need.
Yes, it does! However, if you aren't using a filter pump, there are no plugs to prevent the water from spilling out. Even so, the pump we ended up purchasing only has ONE hose for the outlet, leaving us with an open hole. It's impossible to work with!

My 5-year-old daughter adores it, and it is the ideal size for her. I can even join her in it without feeling like a giant in a mud puddle. So much better than previous summer's inflatable pools, and no complaints about sturdiness. I bought the pool without a filter and then went to Amazon to buy the Intex Krystal Clear 1000 GPH filter pump. At the very least, I recommend that pump. With this pool, the 330 GPH pump that comes standard with some options would be nearly useless. br>br>With the exception of issues lining the pins up with the bottom hole and forgetting the protective rings the first time around and having to re-assemble, assembly was not difficult for me alone. every pin must be installed Setup of the filter was simple, and I strongly advise you to purchase the deluxe pool maintenance kit and the wall-mounted pool cleaner. skimmer mount I'm thinking about switching to a saltwater system, but since I got the chlorine from Lowe's, I'll have to wait until next summer. By the way, it took about 13 oz. to achieve the ideal chlorine level. the 1 gallon I paid under $4 for a chlorine solution at Lowe's. Before adding the chlorine, I had to use some pH UP to get the pH balanced. br>br>If you're new to owning a pool like me, take the following into consideration. For padding and protection, you'll need something beneath the pool. Because I built my pool on a brick patio, I didn't need to level it with sand. At HF, I discovered 1/2" thick interlocking foam mats marketed as "anti-fatigue. " For $6, you can get a "fatigue" mat. 99 for a four-pack Unlike most exercise mats, which are 24" square, these mats are 25" square. 7 packs are required to cover the pool area, but I purchased enough to cover a 10'x20' area because I'm installing a ShelterLogic 10'x20' canopy ($265 on Amazon) with screen sides over the pool and creating an area for the adults to lounge while watching the kids. Anyway, the foam pads worked out great and provided just enough cushion beneath the pool for walking. Cleaning equipment is also required, so the Intex deluxe kit includes a telescoping pole, large mesh skimmer (a small mesh skimmer can also be purchased from Lowe's or elsewhere), and a pool vacuum that connects to your filter's intake port in the pool. br>br>If you have children, which I assume you do if you buy a pool this size, you'll need a ladder for them as well. My 5-year-old daughter, who is tall for her age, couldn't quite get in and out due to the 30" sides. I did buy an Intex 42" ladder ($48 on Amazon), which is sturdy enough for the kids but doesn't have a platform between the top steps. As a result, I had to add one so that my daughter could use the ladder safely. I used scrap plywood and leftover foam matting, but I wouldn't recommend using plywood unless it's marine grade. It's not particularly water resistant, but it's what I had on hand. So, to the new pool owners. br>br> The $80 pool ended up costing me around $640 to set up the way I wanted it to: br>Intex 10'x30" swimming pool - Intex 1000 GPH filter pump - $80br> Intex pool cover - $42br>Intex pool cover - $40br>Intex pool cover - $40br> $16 (don't waste your time, it's a waste of money)br>Wall- Skimmer and Deluxe Maintenance Kit (Mount Skimmer & Deluxe Maintenance Kit) - Intex 42" pool ladder - $48br>Intex 48" pool ladder - $48br>Intex 48" pool ladder - $ HF Anti-Bacterial $48br>HF Anti-Bacterial $48br> mats to relieve fatigue 13 x $6. 99 = $91 (for a 10x20 area; half as much if the pool is only 10'x10')br>Small mesh skimmer net - Chlorine, pH Up, pH Down, and Test Strips - $9 at Lowe'sbr> ShelterLogic Max Ap 10'x20' 8 leg with screenhouse - about $32 at Lowe'sbr>ShelterLogic Max Ap 10'x20' 8 leg with screenhouse - TSC is selling it for $269, and Amazon is selling it for around $265.
My second pool was just purchased. The first one lasted four years before developing two small holes at the end of the season that were too small to be repaired. It's simple to put together; just make sure you have this razor level and that there's no more than a 1/2 inch tilt to one side. Wood flooring samples can be slid under the feet to compensate for minor differences in level. Before it becomes too heavy, do this while filling it. It's also a good idea to put it on a sand base with a ground cover and lightly dig out the sand on high spots of the feet to make sure it's level. You'll be fine if you run your filter for four hours a day, use a SKOOBA vacuum once a week, and keep up with your chemicals.
This pool is fantastic! It's just the right size for my kids and a couple of friends. br>It took two people 20 minutes to set it up.
There's no mention of a pump anywhere, but it doesn't have one!.
Every summer for the past four years, we've bought this pool. We didn't want to give up our yard because we live in Vegas and have a small yard, so we chose this over an in-ground pool because it's so simple to set up and maintain. We have a (flip plop system) that we use every day during the summer. WE APPRECIATE IT!.
I adored it.
Although the picture indicates that a pump is included, it is not.
I really like this pool; I previously had a 10x30 pool, but this one is much larger. The price is unbeatable, and the pool is of excellent quality. I also purchased a cover. I placed my order on Monday and received it within two days, which was a big plus for me. Also, it does not come with a filter, which isn't a deal breaker for me; in fact, I think it's a good thing because most of the filters that come with pools are a waste of money. Other than that, I highly recommend this pool.
