The size of the circle is 15 feet in diameter. As a result, the width is 15 feet.
As long as they know how to swim, this is a great pool for kids that age.
To be honest, we used a long, safe extension cord for ours; the cord is long, but our packaging doesn't specify how long it is. I'm guessing the cord is about 10 feet long, but that's just a guess. If you plan on having the pool far away from any outlets, I'd recommend investing in an extension cord.

Yesterday, I spent a few hours setting up this pool. I'll share some observations now that it's full and the pump is running. br>br>For starters, it's an established brand. Kit is designed and complete. With two people, setup is simple (though I had my three children assist me). I think the $420 price tag (at the time I ordered it) is a little high, but you're paying at least a $100 premium for shipping when you order it online, and I couldn't find a pool that was comparable for less money locally. The Amazon seller from whom I bought it failed to inform me that it would be delivered by freight, which caused a two-week delay (the seller failed to provide the freight carrier with my contact information). Second, they aren't kidding when they say to make sure you have a perfectly level spot. You can't get away with much slope on the low side without putting strain on the frame, so I had a 14" slope across the 15-foot span. the size of a foot I constructed a retaining wall and filled it with stone dust, which appeared to have compacted into a very hard surface after a few weeks of sitting. The pool's legs, on the other hand, quickly sank. I had to fix it by putting the legs against the retaining wall. So there are two lessons to be learned here: 1) ensure a SOLID surface, and 2) the pool will expand as it fills - The legs will spread a few inches apart. br>br>I followed other reviewers' advice and ordered a larger sand pump for it - SF80110 SF80110 SF80110 SF80110 SF80110 Intex I haven't installed it yet because the smaller plumbing that comes with this pool kit necessitates the purchase of $38 worth of adapters. 2 Intex 10747 (plunger valves) and 2 Intex 10722 hose adapters are required for this project. Amazon sells both of these items in pairs. br>br>Once again, I ordered the Intex Deluxe Wall Mount Surface Skimmer based on the advice of other reviewers. It's great, but the little pump that came with the pool kit will only work if one of the two intakes is plugged. I'm hoping that with the larger pump, the skimmer will be able to operate without having to plug one of the intakes. br>br>4 stars because one of the pump hoses that came with the kit had three pinhole leaks. I'll have to contact Intex about getting a replacement.
Let me start by saying that with this pool, we did everything we could. The grass was removed with the help of a sod cutter. I tried to level it out as much as I could. place the sand on the ground I put a lot of effort into this to make sure it was perfect. br>br>I put it up, filled it with water, and out of nowhere a tear appeared in the liner. It tore before we had even gotten into the pool. and. . Patching is impossible. We put the patches, waterproof gorilla tape, and a vinyl adhesive patch kit to the test. There is no solution. Regardless of what we did to try to repair the tear, it just kept growing. br>br>Each time, we tried to fix it, and the pool was refilled four times. We finally gave up after four mornings of waking up to an empty pool. br>br>I never had the opportunity to swim in it. It's been less than a month since I bought this pool. It was a complete waste of money, and I would not advise anyone who values their time and sanity to do it.
I'm a stay-at-home mom, and I put it together while my husband ran errands and I chased my kids around the yard. Do yourself a favor and get extra filter cartridges at the same time--my pump stopped working after about 3 days before I even put chemicals in it, but it turned out the filter was just too gunked up. I used a charcoal filter to fill the pool because we have well water, but I'm sure there was still a lot of sediment. It's been running like a dream since I replaced the cartridge and straightened out the chemicals. br>br>In addition, I guarantee that your yard isn't level, no matter how level you think it is. Make it easier on yourself by laying the foundation. I didn't, and now it's all messed up.
The most important thing is to make sure that your ground is level. We leveled the ground for hours and hours. The instructions were a little confusing, and assembly was difficult. This pool took five of us to assemble, and the last bar was the most difficult to secure the pool ring in place. The ladder is flimsy; you should invest in a more durable ladder. I weigh 130 pounds, and the ladder is flimsy at best. We enjoy our pool in general. It's refreshing, the filter works well, and it's aesthetically pleasing for an above-ground pole. Hopefully, we'll get two years out of it!.
So here's the deal: I'm having a problem. With the help of four people, the pool was finally set up. When I went to plug in the pump after it was filled, nothing happened. Everything appears to be in order as the power is turned on, but nothing happens when you go to the pump. When you have an electrician come out to look at it, the pump is dead on arrival. I still haven't gotten into the pool. I'll have to order a new pump and see what happens after that. A disgruntled client.
So far, everything has gone well! It's relatively simple to put together, but it takes a long time. I put it up on my own (I'm a mother of two), and I've had Intex pools before. This is the third one I've ordered. I haven't had any complaints in the last 15 years. They've all held up admirably, so I'm giving this one five stars because I expect it to live up to the rest of the Intex products I've bought.
Getting the plastic pieces through the holes and getting the holes to line up to get them through is a pain, and it hurts your hands. Aside from that, the setup was fairly simple. The pool cover is a pain to use because it rips easily and does not keep anything out. It also has circles in the top that act as peek-a-boo holes.
This pool is one of our favorites! We only had a month to use it before having to put it away for the fall, but we used it every day. It was used on a daily basis by both children and adults. We had enough room for 8 children and 3 adults! I'm looking forward to doing it again next summer!.
