BESTWAY'S POWER STEEL ABOVE GROUND POOL PROVIDES ENDLESS SUMMER FUN FOR KIDS AND ADULTS OF ALL AGE GROUPS. It's a less expensive alternative to a more complicated steel-walled pool, but it's more durable and stable than inflatable pools.
SUPERIOR FRAME DESIGN: To protect the pool from UV and abrasion damage, the pool frames are coated with a rust and corrosion-resistant coating. The pool is surrounded by a 3-ply PVC support band for added wall stability.
BEND-PROOF AND LEAK-PROOF: The Seal is made of a material that is resistant to bending and leaking. Another feature that ensures stable joint connections is the pin-clip design.
NO MORE CHEMICAL FLOATERS: The Chemconnect chemical dispenser eliminates the need for a traditional floating chemical cleaner, allowing you to spend more time swimming and enjoying yourself! It connects to a pool wall valve.
EASY TO ASSEMBLE POOL SET: This above-ground pool can be installed in your backyard without the use of any tools, and a flow-controlled drain valve makes emptying the excess water a breeze. In a matter of minutes, you'll be having hot summer fun! This pool set comes complete with a ladder, 530 gallon filter pump, ChemConnect dispenser, and filter cartridge.

Questions & Answers

Will I need hose adapters if I upgrade to a better pump?

The pump included with this pool is insufficient. I bought a BESTWAY 1000 GALLON FLOWCLEAR SAND FILTER PUMP, which uses 1 1/4 hoses and plumbs right up to the pool. Many sand filters use the larger 2" hoses, which necessitate the use of a conversion kit and the cutting of larger holes in the pool liner to accommodate these fittings. It can be done; I've done it both ways before. This is my second pool of this size, and I've done it both ways. I currently use the above-mentioned filter with the smaller hoses; it was simple to set up and works well for this pool size (mine is 9x6); a larger pool will most likely require a larger filter and an adapter kit for larger hose sizes; you will have to search for this filter; Google it. My Intex pump lasted two seasons, wintered inside, and I like, as do my dogs, this pool, which is well made but not very large. I hope this has been of assistance.

Is there a way to find out how big this pool's footprint is?

What is the depth of the 9x18-inch pool?

How deep?

Inside the pool, the water line is pre-marked as 31" deep on the vinyl liner. The pool is 39 inches tall from the ground to the top.

Is there a ladder included with it?

Mine came with a ladder, and I've had it for about a month.

Be careful who you buy from
3/5

Because we are building a house and will have a pool, I ordered this pool for our grandchildren. This summer, there will be less of it. For a season, I figured it'd be enough. Because the filter that came with the pool was said to be garbage, I ordered the sand filter. br>Let me begin by stating that the instructions were appalling; The instructions state that assembly should take no more than 30 minutes. Ha ha. Unpacking the components and figuring out what went where took about 30 minutes. We were constantly perplexed by the instructions because they depicted parts that were not included with the pool. The control valves, which fit on the outside of the pool and control backflow when emptying the skimmer basket on the pump, appeared to be shorted, based on what we could see. When I emailed the company (they don't have a phone number), I was told that they would call me back within two business days. They did call me back, but I was unable to answer the phone and had to return the call, which took 10 minutes before someone came on to "assist" me. That was a joke, don't get me wrong. When I asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told that this model does not have the ability to install control valves, despite the fact that a much smaller inflatable pool does. So now, in order to empty the skimmer basket on the pump, we must unscrew parts on the inside of the pool and insert plugs to prevent water from pouring out. What kind of setup do you have here? br>I believe the pool will suffice for one season, which is all we require, but I would not recommend it as a long-term solution. br>I'd like to point out that there were no instructions on how to care for the pool once it was set up. due to the fact that We've had an above-ground pool for more than 30 years and are aware of the various parameters that must be maintained, but the directions make no mention of this. br>I'm not a fan.

The pool is of excellent quality, but the pump is not
3/5

Wow, this pool is of the highest caliber. Before this pool, I purchased two others from Walmart, and the liners were never as durable. Those other pools' bottoms, in my opinion, were far too thin. On this one, no way. The pool came with no instructions, but you can figure out how to put the poles together by looking at the picture on the box and applying common sense. The pump that comes with it, on the other hand, is a toy. I can see why people are upset about the pump now. It's quite simple, and the water flow is quite slow. The other pools I purchased (and returned) at Walmart cost $50 and $200, respectively, and came with what looked like toy pumps with a strong flow. This pool costs $300, and it includes a toy-like baby pump? Not good. There is no ladder included. However, if you are tall enough, you can climb over. This pool cost less than the $200 Walmart pool, which included a cover and ladder. I'm at a loss for words except to say that your money was spent on the pool's shape, size, and overall quality. But what about the pump? According to the pump's documentation, the water flow has been approved by pool professionals; however, cleaning the pool takes longer. The pump is something I'll have to look into. The water flow appears to be half that of the other, less expensive pools I purchased. I'm thinking about getting a sand filter pump because I'm not going to be buying filters every two weeks like the pump manual suggests. br>br>5/18/19 Updatebr>Because of the pump that comes with this pool, I've reduced my rating to three stars. I can attest to the fact that the pump included with this pool is completely ineffective at filtering anything. The pump that comes with this pool has a capacity of around 300 GPH, which is far too small for the volume of water it holds. The flow is similar to what you'd get from a hose. It's easy to see trash floating around in the pool, polluting the water. So I went out and purchased an Intex 1000 GPH pump that came with 1. I used 25-inch hoses and adapters to fit this pool perfectly, and within the first hour of running it, it began to clear out all of the debris and dust in the pool. The intex's flow appears to be four to five times stronger. When I went outside this morning, I noticed that the pool water was crystal clear. To summarize, if you plan on purchasing this pool, you must purchase a different pump. The Intex 1000 GPH pump cost around $30 and is in excellent condition. br>br>7/1/19 Updatebr>At the bottom of the pool, there are pin holes. Originally, I stated that the pool's bottom was tough or heavy duty. Unfortunately, it does not appear to be very heavy duty. It appears to be because it feels thick, but I believe the material does not give or flex, making it prone to tearing. As a cautionary note to others, I built this pool on top of a concrete slab with nothing underneath it. I first washed the concrete to remove small dirt/dust, but it turns out that if you don't wash every micro pebble like a concrete slab, the water's tremendous force/weight will eventually pierce the pool lining. My bad. I should have double-checked or put something beneath the pool to protect it. I can see tiny pinholes where micro pebbles have just passed through. As a result, I'm wasting about 15 gallons of water per day. I tried using the included underwater self-adhesive patches, which appear to work, but I keep finding more and more tiny pin holes throughout the pool. I'm not sure if it would have been a different situation if I had put it on grass (I don't have a grassy backyard), but it's definitely not a good idea to put it on a hard, non-giving surface like concrete. I'll have to see how these cheap patches hold up. The patches included appear to be extremely durable, but I'm not sure how they compare to patches that use vinyl glue and are welded to the pool's vinyl lining. I should also mention that I have drained and refilled the pool four times since it was installed. I'm not sure if this had anything to do with the leaks. It's a nice pool, but I think the bottom should be made of a more flexible material or made thicker. With a price tag of $300 and a faulty filter pump, I'm worried that I won't be able to use the pool next summer or the next because it has become unrepairable. I hope it doesn't leak where it's been stitched, because I don't think any patch can fix a stitched seam.

For the money, this is a good pool
5/5

so far. As a result, we needed a small pool for our family of three. We did our homework and came up with this swimming pool. It came on a semi and weighed 100 pounds (problem 1 because we live in the country). I got the pool out of the box. The videos made it appear as if you could assemble it in 30 minutes - NOT SO. It requires a 1 depending on whether you complete it alone or with assistance. I did it on my own and skipped over some of the more whimsical elements, such as the pump and ladder. The pool cover and tarp are also total garbage, so those two items should reduce the cost. To ensure that the pool can be disconnected for winter storage, I recommend spraying each part with cooking spray. The pool is fantastic in and of itself! Exactly what we needed. We bought a solar cover on Amazon and added a much bigger pump and ladder to the mix. For extra protection, we placed multiple tarps on the ground. For the price (which should be lower due to the previously mentioned issues), this is a good pool.

Love it! Arrived on time, setup was a breeze, and I was able to complete it all by myself
5/5

The instructions could be improved, but watching a video beforehand was extremely beneficial. The pool appears to be very sturdy; however, for the price, it should have come with a ladder; as it is, I had to purchase one. Adults can enter and exit without difficulty, but children must be lifted. So far, the pump has performed admirably; there was a minor leak that I was able to resolve with the use of rubber bands and the tightening of the screws. We don't do much swimming because it's so small, but we enjoy it nonetheless. Toddlers and older children will enjoy it, as well.

Pump is a waste of time
4/5

The pool is fantastic, but the pump is a complete waste of money! If it came with the correct pump for the pool size, I would give it a ten out of ten rating. My father has a pool, and when I saw the pump that came with it, I thought it was for a large fish tank. Is this for real? Upgrade to the Intex if you haven't already. It has 75 horsepower and will keep your pool sparkling clean. I also purchased an Aqua Bug pool vacuum, which has performed admirably thus far. The cost of upgrading the pool pump and vacuum is estimated to be around $1,000. It was definitely worth it to keep the kids occupied for the entire day!.
