The water will gradually come up to ambient temperature if you properly manage the pool's water and avoid introducing cold fresh water. I, on the other hand, was impatient and purchased two 1. Purchase black rubber mats from a hardware store and place them at the pool's bottom. I'll skip the Joules/BTU math, but that adds up to about a 1% increase. In direct/indirect sunlight, the temperature rises at a rate of 5 degrees Fahrenheit per hour. Every sunny day, I hit 85 degrees (F) by around 2 p.m., thanks to a combination of filtered treed water and black mats. Important information to keep in mind: This is in Chicago, not in a hotter climate like Arizona.
We cut the pvc pipe to meet the requirements because our city requires a permit and a fence over 24 feet. The pool and cover are of reasonable quality, but the plastic tubes that connect to the pump and the mat that can be purchased for beneath the pool are both of poor quality.

We chose this pool because it was the perfect size for our back patio and we didn't want to have to level an area. It's a lot bigger than we expected, with enough room for two adults and a teenager. Despite the fact that the instructions are terrible, it was still easy to put together. The pump is a little on the small side, but it's quiet (just make sure you drain the air out of the lines first). This could be a "noise problem" for some people). We installed waterproof foam flooring that "locks together" (like a puzzle) ($30 well spent) to protect the floor and make it more comfortable.
My fear was that my 9 and 6 year olds would destroy the pool in a matter of days, but I was completely wrong. It's a tough piece. Before I could set up this pool, I had to do a lot of ground leveling, which paid off big time. Take your time when looking for the right spot. Because there can't be too much of a lean in any direction or the side could burst, I built the frame first without the liner to make leveling easier, then disassembled and reassembled once the leveling was finished. I swear I swim in this pool more than my children do. After a long day at work, I enjoy relaxing in the tub. It was a fantastic, low-cost investment. For the price, this is an excellent pool; it is not particularly deep, but it is ideal for cooling off. Setup is simple and straightforward. I had my doubts at first, but we've had this pool since June 1st and it's still going strong. It's extremely durable, and the filter does a good job of keeping it clean. With a few chlorine tabs, the water is still clear. I had a birthday party for my daughter, and there were at least ten kids splashing around in there! It was a fantastic time, and the money was well spent. It's sturdy, but it's not very deep. With the water up to the shoulders of an adult, this is a great place to sit. It reminds me of a larger hot tub for adults, but kids can swim and have a good time in it as well.
This pool is fantastic! It's for my two Airedale Terriers and one Wheaten Terrier that I bought it for. It's a huge hit with them. Their cousins, one of whom is a lab, join them in the fun. Setup is a breeze. To change the water and drain the pool, I remove the legs and lay it flat on the ground, which allows the water to drain much more quickly. I cover it with a small tarp and tie it to the legs to keep it in place to keep bugs and other debris out of the water. Plus, if I don't, my female airedale will jump into it whenever I let her out. My dogs enjoyed cooling off in the pool.
I was so tired of getting blow up pools for so long that I finally broke down and spent the well worth the money on one of these. My kids love it (2 and 5) and it's the perfect size for them. I set it up by myself in about 20 minutes after figuring out the instructions would be nice for said pool instead of others but I figured it out quickly.
For a dog pool, this is ideal. Our Boston terrier, too, goes in to cool off. However, because the bottom is the most worn, I wish it were made of a more durable material. To protect the bottom, I used a doubled-up tarp as a pad for it to sit on. br>br>NEW; br>br>UPDATE; br>br>NEW; b br>Bottom has already failed on a number of occasions. If the bottom of the pool was made of the same durable material as the sides, it would be perfect. Plan to buy a roll of Flextape to stop all the leaks if you buy this product.
When I contacted the company for a refund, they said it would cost $57 to return the item because the dimensions (9'10" by 6'7") did not include the total space required for set up, which includes the arms/supports on the outside. If I had known the true dimensions, I would not have ordered it. br>br>For setup, the actual dimensions are 11'8" by 8'4". It says so on the box, so I'm not sure why they didn't state it explicitly in the description. I would've ordered the smaller pool, but given the company's response, I'm going to have to chalk this up to a $57 blunder.
Even though the instructions were not very clear, it was fairly simple to put together. I had my doubts half of the time that I was putting it together correctly, because the poles have a hole on one side that makes it appear as if it should lock into something. However, the locking pin is only on the corners. I would have given it five stars if it weren't for the terrible pump. Mine has a few hose leaks as well as a leak from the pump itself. The pump had a loud whine to it, as if it was about to die at any moment - It did, in fact. The pool has been in my possession for about two weeks, and the pump has stopped working. I had hoped to keep it going all winter, but with the hoses leaking, that won't be possible. As a result, the swimming pool is fantastic. I'm not sure what to do with the pump because it's durable, heavy-duty, and a good price. I'm hoping to find something that will last more than two weeks as a replacement.
