I purchased a 6-foot aqua select telescoping telescoping telescoping telescoping teles The pool is 12 feet long and is in good condition.
A spring-loaded piece goes into the hole on most pool poles to keep it in place. If you're using something different, why don't you use a screw or two to secure it?
My issue is similar to yours. As I previously observed, all of the bristles begin to fall out. They began to fall out in large numbers just by touching.
My pool is made of fiberglass, and it is fantastic!

I've only just started using it, and brush pieces are already falling out in long strands.
I had been using the original brush that came with my pool for four years and had no problems with it, so I decided to try this brush. It's fine, but after less than six months of light use, I've got bristles all over my pool from the brush head falling off. I would not purchase this item again.
This is my second buy. The first was 6 months long: After the metal stem broke, the bristles began to fall out, and they began to float in the pool after cleaning. But it's nice for the price, and it scrubs well for a few months. It will last longer if kept out of the sun and the elements, but in the harsh Texas weather, I hang mine on the fence.
It's just right for my telescoping pole. I included photos of the poles that would be needed to attach this to, as well as a nerf bullet for size and measurement. The bristles are stiff, but not to the point of cutting. Don't waste your money on the more expensive ones; this one will last at least 3 to 5 seasons.
It's incredibly simple to use and well worth the money!.
Works as stated; however, do not leave out in the sun for the entire summer. Will fall apart.
I was delighted to discover that this one had a metal frame, as my previous one had a plastic frame that had broken. Unfortunately, the white bristles fall out, and I had white bristles all over the pool in a matter of months.
This was purchased on the 20th of May, 2020. Today is September 5, 2020, and this item is no longer available; do not purchase.
