Questions & Answers

I snapped the locking mechanism for the gate/border by accident. Is it possible to get replacement parts for the pvc pipe? It was part e, I believe. ?

Hello, Dear Customer,br>If you contact us through Amazon messaging, we will send you the pvc pipe for free. br>Thank you very much.

Is it possible to return this product if I don't like how it works?

Yes, I returned it because it was so inexpensive. Doesn't do what it says on the tin.

Is it possible to set it up on a carpeted area, or does the sauna leak water?

So, unless you have a small child pool from a dollar store to place the sauna in, don't use it on carpeted surfaces. It swears with you and sweats instead of leaking. The garage is where I keep monenin.

What is the maximum weight capacity of the chair? Is there enough space inside for a man of 6 feet?

No Temp Gag!! It's HOT!! Paste Yourself
4/5

It's in desperate need of a level gag on the pot! Don't try to sit for 60 minutes like I did in the photo; please don't overdo it, and paste yourself. It quickly heats up. While you're in it, drink some ice water to stay hydrated. This isn't a sauna where you can go for a walk. It's a small room with a lot of steam heat.

**EIGHT MONTH FOLLOW UP*
Scroll down to see my original review from when I first got it and used it. This steam tent has been in my possession for about eight months, and I've used it frequently — at least once a day. This unit's value and capabilities haven't changed my mind. The steam is still hot, it still makes me sweat, and after using it, I still feel fantastic. I haven't abused it, but I have put it to a lot of use, and it is beginning to show signs of wear in a few places. 1. br>br> The heat has caused one of the structural pipes to completely wilt. This took some time. I'm sure that soaking that piece of PVC in hot water will soften it up enough for me to straighten it out, but the structural integrity is most likely compromised in any case. The tent is still usable, but the wilting has caused the tent to sag on one side, where this 36" piece is now 26" tall. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br The tent has a leak at the bottom. Water seeps through everything, and loosening stitches aren't going to keep it out. It's not a big deal because I've started using it outside in my backyard, which is kind of fun; however, don't use it on hardwood floors, carpet, or anything else that you don't want to get wet. You COULD lay down towels, but I don't think that's a good idea. You'll just end up with a floor covered in sopping wet towels. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. A small hose connects the steam unit to the tent, and at the end of the hose is a plastic connector. That plastic connector, like the rest of the unit, has become brittle as a result of exposure to a lot of heat and moisture. I'm gentle with it, but it's crumbling, and it'll only be a matter of time before it's crumbs, and I'll either have to get another unit (which I will) or jimmy-proof it. some kind of rigging br>br>Once again, this is all done with a lot of effort. And, as you might expect, I enjoy the effects of steam if I use it frequently. So I'm not saying it's garbage or that you shouldn't buy it; I'm just saying that you should be realistic about heat and moisture and how they affect plastic and polyester over time. br>br>I'd consider this unit to be a hygiene item, similar to a toothbrush, that will need to be replaced at some point, rather than a family heirloom that will look brand new in many years. And I'll replace it because I think of steam treatments in the same way that I think of brushing my teeth. br>br>**ORIGINAL REVIEW*
Steam and sauna are two of my favorite things. I've always selected a gym based on whether or not it has a steam room and sauna. I've visited Seattle's Banya 5 and enjoyed the 220°F sauna. I'd be in them all the time if I had built-in units in my house, but I don't, and my gym is now at home, so I needed a way to get a good sweat on. br>br> heat treatments that induce This led me to these units, and I was skeptical when I first started looking into them. "Will it get hot enough?" was my primary concern. "I was already thinking about getting a second steam unit before I ordered it, just in case," I said. "br>br>Well, friends, as someone who pushes heat therapy to its limits, I can tell you that this little unit delivers. I've had it for a few weeks and have been very pleased with it. The entire experience. br>br> br>br>In the tent, it gets hot. Whether you're sitting in the chair with your head poking out or getting down in the tent, you'll eventually get too hot and have to leave. It's not something you'll say, "Well, I sat in there for 50 minutes and it never got hot enough. " You'll be able to "sweat it all out," and you'll get that "ultra clean" feeling you want. When I use this (thermometer verified), I have no trouble raising my body temperature a few degrees and sweating until I am exhausted. The seat. br>br> br>br>The chair serves its purpose but isn't particularly comfortable. "Well, it appears to be a comfortable outdoor chair, similar to those sold at REI!" " Isn't that right? However, this is not the case. Take my word for it: it's a low-cost version of one of those chairs that will cause discomfort to your back and legs unless you cover it with a couple of thick towels - You'll want to do that anyway, as well as soaking up some of the water on the tent's floor. You'll end up sloshing around if you don't. The steam boiler. br>br> The steam unit is nothing more than a plastic bucket with a ceramic heating element. br>br> The design is very straightforward. It works fine, but I wouldn't be surprised if it broke down and needed to be replaced at some point - That is something I would do. I've decided to keep a steam tent in my home for the rest of my life. It has a timer but no remote control. br>br> That is, it will continue to blow steam until the timer beeps. This is fine, but it would be nice to be able to easily stop and start the unit without having to get up, get out, and unplug it during long sessions. You could probably get that feature by running it through a smart device or a clapper. The tent, br>br> br>br>The tent is made up of two parts: The tent material, as well as the skeletal structure made of plastic piping. The tent is made of a polyester-like material that is mostly waterproof. I've noticed some leaking around the bottom seams, but it's only a smidgeon. Again, a towel or two should be placed on the floor to absorb the condensation (and, most likely, sweat). The quality is adequate, but as with the steam bucket, don't be surprised if it needs to be replaced after extensive use. The plastic piping is fine; however, I believe the heat has caused some flex and bend. br>br>It's relatively simple to disassemble and store in a box or something, but depending on how frequently you disassemble and reassemble, I could see that significantly increasing wear and tear. It would be ideal to leave it set up all of the time, but this is dependent on your available space. br>br>When you're finished, wipe it down and place it somewhere to dry. If you store it wet, it will rot. br>br>On the back of the tent, there is an inlet where you can connect the steam unit to the tent. It would be ideal if it could choose from inlets on three of the four sides, if not all of them. If you're sitting in the tent, the highest point is the back, which would be the most comfortable to position against a wall and lean against, but since the steam is coming out, that's not possible unless you want to burn yourself. br>br>Ease of use. br>br>I'm 5'10" and weigh 200 pounds. I'd describe the tent's size as "just big enough" for me to sit on the floor inside. My head just touches the top of it because it's short/high enough. It would be better if it were a couple of inches taller or more square-shaped. The only difference is that it's in a cube shape rather than a curved one. br>br>Sitting in the tent will necessitate a certain amount of flexibility. I wouldn't recommend using it this way if you have mobility issues that prevent you from standing up without assistance or something to lean on. Overall. br>br> br>br>One of the best therapies for improving my well-being, in my opinion, is a deep sweat. being. To some, that may seem like "magic talk," but for me, it's a necessity. and if you're anything like me, you'll understand what I'm talking about. And you're thinking about it because you want to make it easier for yourself. That'll be taken care of by this.

This has no sauna benefits, but it does get you wet
3/5

After just one use, I wrote a glowing review of this product, but I need to revise it. br>On my second use of this sauna, I decided to wear my sauna suit to get even more sweating. I was completely naked the first time I tried it. The suana suit was soaked through and through, but when I removed it, I was completely dry and my skin was barely damp. This has caused me to reflect. why? br>I went back to the reviews and read further down that she believed her damp skin was caused by the steam rather than sweating. That's a significant distinction! br>I took a third steam, this time naked, and noticed that there was NO CHANGE IN THE COLOR OF MY SKIN WHEN I EXITED AFTER 30 MINUTES. Every chance I get, I go to the YMCA's dry sauna, and after 15 minutes, I emerge with red splotchy skin and a vibrate glow. Something was wrong, as you could tell. This sauna does not offer any of the advantages of a traditional sauna. Too bad. Thank you for saving you $100 and a lot of space on your floor.

This tiny sauna is effective
5/5

As a joke, I purchased this. My husband was disappointed that we didn't have a gym membership that included a sauna, so I sent him a picture of one I discovered on Amazon. "Why not?" I thought for a little more than $100. " We didn't expect much, but this sauna is AMAZING! We absolutely adore it! Put a towel in the bottom of the device to soak up the steam that collects there; however, I wouldn't use it on carpeted or hard wood floors in case water leaks out. When we're finished, we wipe it down and set it near a box fan to dry it out before storing it.

I wish I'd bought it earlier

UPDATE: This little bugger can reach temperatures of 120 degrees Fahrenheit. To keep the heat in, I drape a towel over the hole in my head. I don't use the chair; instead, I cross my legs inside it for a full-body steam. br>br>ideal for a small steam sauna. Warming up takes about 15 minutes, and the temperature reaches around 110 degrees. The steam machine was simple to set up and use.

There is no way to get your money back because it is cheap and broken
3/5

After two uses, the product was broken. It's utter scum. The temperature does not maintain a consistent level of comfort. Due to cheap fittings, the hose pops out. The Chair had given up the ghost. Overall, this purchase was a complete waste of money, and the customer service was non-existent. existent. On Amazon, there's yet another con company.

This is fantastic! However, later problems arose
3/5

This is fantastic! It's been a week since I got it, and I've already used it three times after a workout. It makes you sweat a lot! It was simple to assemble and did not necessitate the use of any tools. I can easily fit into it (5'10" male, 192lbs) and enjoy having my hands free. The only flaw is that the steamer isn't visible from the inside, so there's no way of knowing when it's going to stop. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> I'm going to reduce my rating because the chair broke. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> It occurs to me that the water at the tent's bottom is not my sweat. Nonetheless, I continue to sweat and my heart rate rises (as measured by Fitbit). Even if I am not sweating as much as I expected, I believe it is still worthwhile. The next day after using it, I noticed a reduction in puffiness in my body.
