The board is meant for the U frame, isn't it?

In short, yes. The new board is a direct replacement for the old one.

What should I do if I already have a u frame stand and board that is unknown brand. How can I tell if this replacement board is compatible with my ?

The following systems will be retrofitted. In a position of strength, Smith is A flyte-like creature Among them Deck II, 606 Cantilever, 656 Supreme, Salt Jump Stand, and the U-shaped platform A frame with a S. The Smith 69209001 606/608 Cantilever Steel Diving Board Base with Jig White (Stand) is made of steel. 'Smith 6' (Spring Assembly)' 69209026 I would suggest that if the board that you have now has this type of stand and a u-bolt, it may be a better choice. The bolt spring setup I have listed here is an example. I think it will work fine. *br> *br> *br> *br> If you need me, I can help you out

Can the 8' frontier 3 take a lot of weight?

Approximately 250 lbs is what I believe it to be. The one we have had for several years now has never given us any trouble. As a couple, we weigh 250 pounds (and more).

Do you think this board can be used with a board with 10 inch on center holes?

You can't do that. Board holes range in size from 12 inches to 24 inches.

S Replacement Parts are perfect fit
5/5

It's a Smith Board. I am absolutely in love with the color (Pebble). It's a much more appealing board than the old one - plain white. My old S was directly replaced by this one. After painting the Springs, Base, and Tie posts, I went to get three cans of Rustoleum (Desert Bisque) and painted them. The Desert Bisque paint nearly accounts for the same color. It is crucial you keep your springs' clear washers (round and square) intact. Also, save the spacers on the back two diving board bolts, and replace the nuts, bolts, and washers on the springs and base, then add some antiseize to the bolts so that you won't have to deal with them down the road. In addition, make sure the back two bolts are torqued to 4, as well. Tie the bolts to 5 lbs and make sure the caps (bolt covers) are on before tightening them. An online video I watched has been recommended to me. The board is in great condition. The nuts, bolts, and washers on a new board are new. That should keep them from rusting for a very long time.

The color is nice and melds well with the exposed aggregate decking I have
5/5

Following an incident where by an 8' diving board just disappeared from the shipping box, Amazon promptly replaced it and the item arrived I liked the color, and it matched my exposed aggregate decking and adobe color coping well. All the holes and hardware on my almost 30 year old S matched perfectly. This cantilever base is designed by Smith. My old dive board's base was revived with some Rustoleum Sand color. Now I have a new look for a fraction of the cost of a replacement. Much better than a white slash sticking out in the yard as it did for many years. Almost no one can tell that there is a board at all. Owners of diving boards keep up the good work! I still had my old diving board that seemed to be in perfect working order. Nevertheless, it had split at the bolt holes and it only took a matter of time before someone could have been seriously hurt. Check your boards both top AND bottom at the bolt holes before you use them. It is time to replace if there is a splitting. In addition, my original bolts had been welded together with rustd together with the nuts. I used my reciprocating saw with a metal blade to quickly resolve The new hardware comes with the board and is stainless steel.

The website does not appear to be accurate and the board is extremely It is interesting to note that the SR Smith website has a grid that shows board flexibility
5/5

This one is listed as being more flexible than the Fibre Dive that we currently have. There is no truth to that at all. Considering our old Fibre Dive was shorter than this board, you'd think this one would have been more flexible by virtue of the length alone. I have a Flyte Deck stand and with this board, it is almost unsafe. When the majority of people attempt diving, they expect to jump and spring, but diving does not give in the slightest. In fact, some of my guests were hurt by their backs because they expected the stand to give. If you have a spring stand, then go ahead. *Update If you cannot use Fibre Dive, then try Fibre Dive. Five stars are now available. The comment below was posted by SR Smith. It's nice to deal with a US company who is concerned with customer satisfaction and is upgrading me with a new Fibre Dive. I like it when I deal with companies that are concerned about customer satisfaction. Due to this very action, I no longer intend to buy an InterFab slide (which was cheaper) and instead will order an SR Smith slide. You did a great job!.

I'm in love with this board! It is rare for me to write It's a must that I address this issue
5/5

A day earlier than expected, the board arrived. Despite its price, it is worth every penny. There is a savings of $300 when compared with In addition to this, the box didn't lack any hardware, which was essential for it to fit on my old pool stand. It took me less than 20 minutes for it to be installed. Thanks for reading. We found some glass fibers on the bottom and I think I found them all, so please wear gloves.

S is a quality company that I trust
5/5

Products made by Smith! Diving boards like this Frontier III board replace old S models that are over ten years old. The Smith Board, which was used by people of all sizes and shapes, received tons of use. Over the past swim season, there was a small crack just beyond the fulcrum This results in a replacement being necessary. Although the pool no longer gets the throngs of summer guests, my grandkids still love it because they can jump and splash around The thing I love about diving is diving It is estimated that the girls weigh 80 and 85 pounds, respectively The weight of each is 40 pounds We have not experienced a challenge yet to the new board! It's a good feeling to trust Products made by Smith!.

There isn't a lot of bounce from this
4/5

It's very rigid, so it's almost like a diving board than what I consider a diving board. I would have preferred an 8 foot board if it had more spring, but the separation between my U stands prevented me from getting a 6 foot board. I am to blame for Smith's actions - My only concern was to deal with the existing stand to the best of my ability. I don't remember what was there previously, but when I bought my house it had the pool and a board stand, but no diving board, so I don't recall Despite that, this board fitted perfectly in place of the existing U stands I already had. The board came with all the hardware needed to mount it. There is a nice, flat and non-reflective surface to the board This is a great product with no slip and overall great appearance.

The board is excellent, and can be used directly as a Thanks a lot for working this My 17-year-old diving board had basically worn out so I had to dig through my gear for over 2 weeks to figure out exactly what diving board to order
5/5

The original was replaced exactly by this. It took me about 30 minutes to install and then I could start using it. times each. I probably would have had to spend $700 at the pool store for this board, but I purchased it on Amazon for about $375 "Used". back to you? I guess it is just repackaged since it was It would have been nice to replace it more quickly!.

The board replaced an old one that had rotted after 25 years
5/5

It is a perfect replacement for our old one. In this situation, the platform remained the same, but the board was replaced. Since the platform was no longer designed in the same way, spacers were required to install the board (spacers were used for the old board but rusted in the process). The board did not include any new spacers, but when the manufacturer was contacted, they promptly sent new spacers I requested stainless steel spacers free of charge, and they were very helpful in explaining the problem and ensuring that we had the right materials to finish the job. We are very satisfied with this project as we saved over $1000 by doing it by ourselves.
