The board comes with all the hardware I need. This diving board meets my expectations. In the description, there was no mention of the hardware coming with the item, so I bought You don't need to buy the diving board hardware separately it comes in the box with the diving board. The instructions in the hardware package aren't extremely helpful and are meant for flat bases or springs, not the I just have some extra parts that I don't need, but the system still works. If you do not have a friend to help you, you should make sure someone can carry the board.
I could not find any local swimming pool companies willing to help us. There are several items on Amazon that appear to be viable. The manufacturer was contacted by email. we had been using for years has been replaced with a new one. With the new S. diving board from Smith, you can now dive safely at shallow depths. It was easy for Smith to maneuver the board. The new board looks sharp, and its very well made. There was no need to swap out the existing base, and the project went without a hitch.
It is a great replacement and upgrade for 20 year old fiberboards. One note, do not order the separate hardware kit because the hardware comes with the board itself. As one other note, save the spacers from your jump stand. When I pitched mine, I made do with steel spacers 1 1/4" that were readily available at the hardware store.
Damage to the board was evident when it arrived. It looked like the rest of the board was in pretty good shape, and the true tread surface is pretty great, but I'm unable to use it since I don't trust that it won't further crack/split when it is first used.
Great job on the board. My children say there is no way to get some really good air off the board because their feet hurt.
There was no bounce to the diving board. If I just laid a piece of rock, I might as well as well. It does not have any give.
