Questions & Answers

Is it possible for me to have the board's decisions please?

Mounting holes are pre-drilled and are a distance of 12" apart Using a drill. A set of mounting bolts is

Can you give me the torque value on the nuts when I tighten down the hardware after buying an 8 foot board?

Normally I tighten it twice a year, but if it is used regularly I will check it more often.

The board on our new house was very old and needed to be replaced. The first diving board I ever owned was a gift from my mother. In what sense is a "Fulcrum" defined? Does this part appear in the book? Is it internal? Any further questions?

The fullcrumguy is where you should go. You can view a video of a fulcrum at www.fulcrum.com. There is little chance of having that type of board in a residence, since you are probably just replacing the springboard and referring to the "stand" it is mounted on. It is likely that the stand that secures your board is installed in your deck as soon as it is installed in your house. To determine which boards are compatible with your base "stand", you first need to look under and find out how many holes are available for the bolts. Then just remove your old springboard (which will be tough if the bolts are corroded) then use the new bolts and board and secure. I recommend you call the Smith company directly first to be sure you get the correct board. The bolts came included. You can also call the company directly and ask a question.

What is the possible configuration of this board with a three pin configuration if I need something better than a 250lbs weight limit board?

It is equipped with a 400 lb weight capacity on the 8' Frontier IV diving board. The weight limit is 250 pounds, but it must be paired with a 2-pounder A hole measuring 11" in diameter. The 3-inch stand cannot be paired with an already existing 3-inch stand The jig is made up of points.

A decent board for the price
4/5

If you heed the weight limit, this is a decent board if you don't plan on overstuffing it. Trying to jump as hard as possible will crack it if you have grown men and teens! As I watch them jump and make a splash, I have had to hold back and stop them from making a big splash my third time around, not because of the board being to bad, but because big heavy men/boys are jumping so hard they will make a splash. My first two boards lasted about 4 years per board, but if you don't let the big boys go strong and remove them in the winter, they will last even longer. It gets moist in the core and freezes/decays in the cold and weakens it as a result. It is possible for the grit on the board to wear a bit, but the wear will be minimal. Power washing the algae two or three times during the summer is a good idea. In addition to chlorine, you can use salt. When you have people who are over the weight limit jumping hard, Spring (Come on, you get heavier, more expensive board. Very easy to install with two bolts and nuts. Spray the nuts of your board a few times with PB Blaster before you remove them if it is old.

A good, solid, fun board
4/5

The latest model came out last year, and I've used it for months. Flexible, bouncy, and fun, the board will keep you entertained. A sturdy feel to it. It was very easy to install. However, the bolts were too short. I had to go to a hardware store to get extra long I very much like the colors, though diving boards seem heavier than I anticipated, so you must be very careful when moving them.

The packaging is poor despite the board's quality
4/5

I think that if you choose the right diving board, you will be very satisfied. Make sure you pay attention to the diving platforms, the depth of the pool, and all other factors to choose the correct and the safest diving board for your pool. There is only one complaint the packaging is a little frail During shipment, I noticed some damage to the back end of the board where the safety decals were. It wasn't worth the hassle of getting a new one, even though I had some trouble getting it.

Still, this is a cool board
5/5

This expensive item is packaged to protect it. There was a 4 inch carriage bolt bundled with the hardware but I needed to buy a 5 inch one. It appears that my aqua deck and this board were slightly too thick for the 4 inch carriage bolt. The rest of the hardware was in good shape, so this installation was no issue. With 10 years behind me, I have so much more to accomplish. In the past 17 years, I have had two.

This is the perfect fit
5/5

This is an easy-to-install program. My 20-year-old board was beginning to crack, so I replaced it with this one. It took approximately 15 minutes to replace the bolts, and most of that time was spent waiting for the bolt loosener to work.

Our diving board was cracked, so we had to get another
5/5

Our search for a better price led us to this one. I let my husband do this on his own by himself over 10 minutes he is in construction, so that may have helped. I get a little stiff when I use the new board There are bugs, but this is normal for a new product. There have already been many cannonball challenges and diving challenges, so we're very happy with the results.

Basically a replacement diving board for what I had before that is starting to crack in the middle, has grayed over the years and was rusted down - it is just plain and simple
5/5

The previous owner of the house not only didn't bring it in but left it out in the winter as well, As for the new one, we will unscrew it and hang it in the winter when we winterize the pool. It should remain attractive for a longer period of time.
