Yes. You don't have to drain the pool to fix the crack. However, once you activate the product, you only have 30 minutes to finish it; it worked perfectly!
This isn't paint at all! It also comes with a hardener and is extremely difficult to smooth out. as if it were a pail of JB weld

pool made of concrete on the ground However, despite its high cost, I strongly recommend NOT trying to get every bit of material out of the inner edges of the can unless you are 100% sure it was fully mixe br> The well-known well-known well-known well-known well-known well-known mixed 90% of what I put down worked perfectly and set up quickly at first. To get everything out of the can, I made the mistake of squeegeeing the sides and bottom. Because the unmixed material remained soft after over a week, I had to grind it off with a flapper disk on an angle grinder. I tried a water-based paint on it, but it remained tacky. This isn't a problem with the product; rather, it's a problem with the user (you live, you learn). br>br>Would be a five-star rating if the color difference between mixed and unmixed was more noticeable. However, it is still strongly suggested.
I had cracks in my steps and figured I'd have to use a strong epoxy product to get the job done properly. After doing some research, I came across this product, which was exactly what I was looking for. It did exactly what I needed it to do for the steps I needed to fix. I only used half a gallon for the job, but it was easy to work with, set up in a matter of hours, and hardened to the perfect thickness to absorb the weight of people entering and exiting the pool. Great product, and I can see myself using it for other projects because of how simple it is to use. Just keep in mind that you'll need the small pint can of hardener to complete the project. It can't be used on its own. To thoroughly mix the two products, I used a cordless drill with a mixing blade, which worked flawlessly. This product is highly recommended, but make sure you do your research to ensure it will work for you.
It was used to patch a large crack in my fiberglass pool steps caused by a tree branch. A fiberglass kit had previously been used to repair it, but it only lasted a year. So far, the repair appears to be a lot more durable and solid than the fiberglass kit. Only half of a gallon was used. To incorporate the hardener, make sure to use a drill mixer.
It's all good.
It worked perfectly.
