It's not clear to me. You should pick a size based on where you pick it.
The back of the patch should be covered in cement, and then the patch should be folded over so that the cement-covered side is hidden. If you are in the water with the tear, there is no need to unfold the patch, just apply it as fast If you wish to smooth out wrinkles, use a latex glove as you press the patch to the liner.

If the pool is full (so the leak is not above the water level), it is necessary to ensure that the water is full. Check the floor of your pool to see if it's squishy, as this would indicate a leak in the bottom. Placing a few drops of food coloring wherever you suspect a leak will show you where it is. If you're not able to detect the leak, keep adding food coloring to your pool.

Patching pool liners is not my favorite activity and almost hired someone to do it, but I decided to use this kit instead. All it took was a 2' x 2' vinyl patch. Plastic patches and weak glue are the main components of patch kits that do not hold up well. In this kit, the glue is pretty good as well. It was about a week ago that I patched three holes and no more water began to leak. Prior to making that change, I filled the pool once every few days.
I don't give a damn. When I used the vinyl pool patch, I thought I had to buy a new pool, but I was amazed at the result I had a 4-foot pool The whole process took about 30 minutes, I cut out a six inch slice, applied glue, applied vinyl patch, rubbing it together to ensure it stuck, I waited for a couple hours after adding water, no leaks no leaks I highly recommend this product. My sincerest thanks go out to you.
The cost of the product is good, and the functionality works as described. I had to double over an 8" tear near the stairs a month after the repair. I then let it sit for 24 hours, and I still have water in the basement.
When my pool has been filled for the first time and leaks have just been discovered, I had to use this in 53 degree water. That was an awful thing to happen. There were 12 tiny holes the size of a toothpick that were sealed. My mind was blown when I realized how well it worked. The water temperature was so hot that my body was in shock. Still, I managed to get out of the water quite quickly using this method.
and then we applied the adhesive and patch that came with them. Here is the first photo of the hole we discovered in our above ground pool (18ft x 48)
The second photo shows what it looked like after we applied As of now, it has not leaked. The adhesive even worked underwater once we started putting water in it we noticed there was an additional hole after we started putting water in it.
It was easy to apply the patch using this adhesive. It lasted an entire season. During the second season, we will see if the show holds up. Follow the instructions precisely and do not take any shortcuts The area where the patch will be applied (I used rubbing alcohol to clean the vinyl before applying the patch).
It's hard for me to figure out if it was the patch or the water slide's fault. The place it tore was right where the kids slide was. It may not have been the patch that was at fault. It was a bad place to try to fix it in.
I have tried several other products to no avail. I highly recommend this book!.
