Despite the fact that it doesn't appear to be Swimline, what we received was very well made. It is heavy felt and black.
There will be no water in the pond when it gets wet. In that case, I suppose you could use it to line the barrier and hold the water underneath.
In my 12 ft pool, I only use one lining made from felt, and that seems to be fine. We do make sure to clear all grass and stones out before we cover with felt.
It is crucial that you choose a liner that has the same diameter as your old

Those of you who drive themselves crazy trying to find the perfect products for projects need to stop looking and do a favor to yourself right This item can be added to your shopping cart and left there. A concrete patio will be the perfect place for my pool. I bought an Intex pool. People did not bother with a pad in some cases, some used indoor outdoor carpet, foam kids squares, and others used foam insulation boards that were This is PERFECT! After checking out all those options, I found this to be an even better deal overall. Well worth the time and effort! Though it is thin, the material is extremely durable, and I anticipate it will last for a long time. You won't find this type of felt in your everyday life. There's a lot of power in it. As I saw it for the first time, I wish I had purchased it then and not wasted time looking for "cheaper options". As someone who relies heavily on reviews, I always leave a review when I find a product that exceeds my expectations.
As of this week, we received the 15 foot round liner pad for the Intex 15 ft x 48 inch deep round pool and have been installing it. I would like to share my experience and opinion. White colored, soft felt like material, about 1/32 of an inch thick, is the material that makes up the Blue Wave 15 feet round liner. The process which we employed to build up our pool area started with building a raised, level area of soft, clean, compressible dirt, then adding the bricks for the retainer wall. We first applied sand to the circumference of the pool floor edge, then used the included "ground cover" pad that came with the Intex pool, and then placed this pad over it. Once the felt surface was completed, we installed our pool liner directly over it, filled it with water, and sealed it. In my experience, I have found that it matters what is placed over the floor surface of your pool It feels very soft underfoot with this thin felt pad in place because the soil is so fine. Now that the pool floor has been improved, it is very gratifying to walk on it. There is no way this pad is thick enough to prevent larger stones or objects from poking up and being easily noticed, so I would recommend you remove any stones. There is not much thickness to this pad, but it resists punctures well. Pool liners shouldn't use this pad to cushion the floor of the pool, but instead to prevent roots or stickers that may have been missed from puncturing the bottom of the pool. In spite of all of this, I am satisfied that for the modest amount I spent to add this to the construction of the pool, it does improve the feel of the pool bottom and provides an extra layer of protection against small stones I might have am unable to feel any stones on my pool floor base, though I know there were a few that I ignored, either because they are too small or there were too many to pick off before I laid the pool floor cover. Among the pros I am concerned. There is a 2 inch margin between the blade and the 15 foot pool diameter. This material is a little stretchy and can be placed without using any velcro or tape. I am concerned. The pool floor will have a nice cushion like feeling if you do your job to smooth it out with dirt and sand before the pool is flooded. A hardened membrane that resists puncture by blunt objects. A more effective method of protecting the ground than simple, cheap ground covers. I am concerned. A relatively low price is paid for a large area of puncture and tear resistant, decent quality felt. I am concerned. White surfaces get stained right away, which is why you'll see that around the edge of the pool right away. Probably would have been better with a light brown or blue color. I am concerned. You may not think it is as cushion-like as you The dirt and/or sand you use on the pool floor should be extra soft if you truly desire a comfortable cushion feeling for your pool.
I'm quite satisfied with the product overall, with the exception of the white color. It meets all my expectations, except for the color. There is nothing to be concerned about when recommending this product. After installation, the white felt may be cut away, and it can be washed with a strong hose spray, so this is a viable alternative to the easily stained or soiled color of white felt.
I don't understand how people can think that is a problem. This is not blue, it is grey, but that is not a problem. Having a little bit of overhang on all sides of a 12' Intex pool is perfect. I don't know why people think it's a cushion for the bottom, it's a protective blanket that prevents sharp rocks and debris I have a set up like this, and it works flawlessly. Base of pea gravel, two old tarps then they were covered with fresh 16” of pea gravel, this blanket was then laid on top of the gravel and the pool was placed on it. Gravel made of peas is soft, and it will fit nicely with your There is a lot of durability in this blanket. It looks like an old army blanket, but those are rectangular and four by eight. This one is an oval measuring 12 1/2 feet long by 33 inches wide. I am glad I purchased this. It is impossible to find material like this for less than 40$ at any local store.
By finishing off the outside circumference of the pool with a nice brown rubber mulch, I complete the overall look of the pool. I really like it! You will also find it easy on your feet! In addition to recovering the rubber mulch, I plan to take the pad home at the end of this season. The recovery process will be a smooth one for me.
I have updated my May 2017 report In July 2015, I purchased this item. Since 2006, I've used it under a Coleman 26" round pool that holds 15,000 gallons of water all year long. As of this writing, the thin pad is still functional. You'll find no weeds here or tears there. Although it does have a little mildew on it, it is still alive and well. For me, it was quite expensive, but it was still worth it. The program does what it was designed to do. The cushion under the pool keeps the water dead and things under the pool down. Footwear that feels better underfoot than without it. the third type of pool we have built, but the first time a liner pad has been used. I can highly recommend this restaurant and do not regret making the purchase. Herbs can grow on top of it, but not through. I would highly recommend this thin pad for setting up a swimming pool. It is very strong, very well constructed and true to size. Just open the box and place it on the ground where you plan to set up your swimming The pool is ready to go when you set it on top. This pad is about 1/8" thick and looks like a large flat sheet of felt. There is no easy way My guess is that it will do a great job of controlling weeds and keeping my A little extra precaution is always better than nothing. There is no sign of tearing with this pad. Despite my best efforts, I was unable to rip it.
A very thin film! As far as I'm concerned, it isn't even a pad. It was a thin piece of felt. If it weren't for putting it on concrete, I probably would have returned it to the store. It makes me very sad.
Upon opening the box, I found that it had be folded up with a large white piece of felt The first time I looked at this, This worked perfectly after we pulled the old felt out, put it down, then put the tarp that came with the pool over it. It is actually very effective! We had to clear the area of rocks and roots, and straighten the area before laying The rocks and roots don't feel at all to me. Thanks a lot for sharing this! As the options we had were larger than what we needed, we ordered two sizes larger. I think it would be hard to get the pool on there perfectly with no room to move. Oh no, it is sewn in two places, which I hadn't expected. I wish you all the best!.
