Do I need to add anything else to my tub on a weekly basis, like I do with my salt pool, to keep it balanced?

Weekly water tests should be performed, as well as any necessary chemistry adjustments. Check the chlorine level and adjust the output of the salt water system. Any pool or spa should have this. We recommend that you follow the manufacturer's instructions. If you tell us what kind of spa and system you have, we can make recommendations based on our experience. Thank you

What's a good substitute if it's out of stock? This is the most effective method we've discovered.?

How often should I replace the bottle in my hot tub?

This salt product is only required when the water is changed, which happens every six months or so. I hope this has been of assistance.

Will my warranty be voided if I use this salt? The ace salt that was recommended is no longer available. ?

I have no idea. I was told I could even use table salt, and I'm not sure anyone would be able to tell the difference. Peak has performed admirably, with all levels remaining within acceptable parameters.

It's salt, so figure out how much your system requires. It works. It's hot tub salt, and a previous reviewer gave it a one-star rating because it took the entire 6 pound jar to raise the levels - That is exactly what is required. On a refill for my Grandee, the recommended dose for the entire tub is 2750 grams. This weighs in at just under 2690 pounds. It would be five stars if you just put the entire 2750 gallon hot tub in there, as 450 gallons is a pretty standard size for a hot tub.

It was a waste of money! Bromine levels had to be raised to the required level, which took almost the entire 6 pounds

This product is fantastic, and it is incredibly simple to use. Since I started using this, I've had the best water I've ever had, and my chlorine readings have become more consistent.
