It's a good fit for my older mid-section

Fits perfectly in my older mid-90s Watkins Grandee Hot Tub. The threads match, it screws down tightly, and there are no issues with this Watkins Grandee Hot Tub from the 1990s. This one is gray, unlike the originals, which were cream in color. It will never be seen by anyone. Only one filter cap was in need of replacement. I can recommend this product based on its quality and the fact that ordering from Amazon was less of a hassle than ordering from my local hot tub repair shop.
