Questions & Answers
It's safe to use in a pool that's inflatable.
On the cover, there hasn't been any mold.
Because it's chlorine-based, I believe it would work as long as the pool's liner is chlorine-friendly.
I'm not one to shock people. I occasionally need to add baking soda, but I find that the frog works just fine on its own.

During the pandemic's "omg stay at home" frenzy, we, like many others, purchased a hot tub. As a nurse with a hard science background, I foolishly assumed that handling the chemicals would be simple. not true. I work nights, and the rest of the family works days, so it became clear after a while that I was the only one checking on the chlorine after it had been used. br>After about the third week of cloudy water and chasing around the chlorine and ph levels, I took a water sample to a local pool supply store, where another customer in line behind me recommended the Frog @ease system after hearing me complain to the clerk after spending another $100 on corrective supplies. Of course, the store didn't have the @ease, so I pulled out my Amazon app and placed an order for it to be delivered the next day. br>Fast forward 5 months, and this product has become NECESSARY for my tub enjoyment and regular use. We have a 600 gallon 5-person tub (with two loungers - see photos). No more fighting with my husband or my adolescent, this is the best idea I've ever had! ), and I have to replace the grey (chlorine) side every three weeks or so, and the blue (mineral) side every ten weeks. I shock the water every other Wednesday, check the chemistries twice a week, and only add free chlorine (1 cap) after I've used it because I can't count on any of the reprobates (my husband and teenagers) to do so - Other than that, I've never had to do anything else to keep crystal clear water and appropriate chemistries since. The SCUM BUG or SCUM BALLS, as the case may be. Another must-have, which I usually go through every two years or so. 3 weeks. I prefer the balls to the bug, but both suckers the same amount of blood. scum. br>br>I only wish this was available as a subscribe-and-save option.
However, shock is still required. It's been a great experience using these because it takes care of the major steps of keeping it clean as a baseline. That said, you CAN maintain your own hot tub without buying this for less money, but I think it's more convenient to use @Ease. You'll still need all of the chemicals to balance, but using their strips makes it a lot easier. You can only use their strips, but the kit includes a large number of them. br>Maintaining our 350 gallon FreeFlow Monterrey Premiere hot tub is simple for the most part, but if you only use @ease on a regular basis, you'll need to shock the water every now and then or it will begin to smell like feet. lol. In addition, we needed to purchase anti-bacterial soap. Water clarifier (also clorox) and foam (clorox is great). br>One thing I wish they would fix is the fact that the rotation changes completely depending on whether you submerge the device and let all the bubbles out or simply toss it in the water, making it difficult to tell when the silver needs to be replaced because the test strip color is so difficult to decipher. We wait until it's completely upside-down, but by then the chemical has all evaporated.
This is the simple chemical maintenance setup that the dealer recommended for use when I bought a new spa last year. A mineral half that needs to be replaced every 4 months, and a chemical half that needs to be replaced every month. It's a cinch to use and keeps the water where it needs to be with minimal effort; , depending on usage conditions, it may be necessary to add a little PH up, etc. to make the water perfect. We found Amazon's pricing to be roughly equivalent to driving a long distance to a spa store for replacements at the same price, so our Prime Membership continues to pay off. It's that simple!.
I'm not sure what the problem is with this system, but it appears to be malfunctioning. We've been using the frog system for almost a year with no problems until now. In addition, the test strips were useless. We added more than enough chlorine and still got no reading, so we tried new strips and discovered that we had high chlorine levels. Last but not least, the oil absorber was a complete waste of time. Extremely thick and unabsorbable. Needless to say, even when we haven't used it, our hot tub has never been cleaner!.
There is no chlorine odor, and the water is crystal clear. Every time I use the tub, I shock the water, which allows this small ball to work its magic. It is completely hassle-free. free.
We were first-time hot tub owners, and the frog ease made the process a breeze. There's no guesswork involved, and there's no nonsense with chemicals on a daily basis. The device accomplishes its goal. I swear it's magic; I test the water every other day, and it's perfect, with no strong chlorine odor. It's probably best to get it right after you get your tub. It's very easy to maintain.
These were recommended by the company where we bought our hot tub to make it easier to maintain it. We've been using them for a year and can vouch for their effectiveness. It's a great tool that's also very simple to use.
Since the first day we got our new hot tub in 2019, we've been using the Frog@Ease system. In comparison to the old method, it is much easier to maintain.
