This is a stand-alone system that functions similarly to the blue/yellow cartridges, with the exception that it uses small amounts of chlorine. Our customers and employees thought it was a big hit.
Most hot tubs have a "clean cycle" that runs the pump for a short period of time twice a day, usually 20 minutes. I've been using the "Ease" floating system for over a year and it seems to be working fine! Because I was completely new to the world of hot tubs just over a year ago, it took me a while to figure out all the tricks to keeping the chlorine, PH, and alkalinity levels in check, but I now have it down and I change the lower "gray" part of the "Ease" cartridge out about once a month and I have a 500 gall It appears to be functioning properly at this time. I just wish the "Ease" company would include three shock packs in the box that contains three gray cartridges. You must add a pack each time you replace the cartridge, so if you order the box with three gray cartridges but do not order three shock packs separately, you will be out of luck when it comes time to replace the gray cartridge!
You should be able to do it, I believe - Just keep an eye on the materials used in your liners. br>I inquired at my local pool - I also purchased a frogged for my daughter's 12-foot Intex pool. They advised using frogger on the lowest number. br>I have a 375 gallon hot tub in my backyard. I'm guessing her pool is around 670 square feet.

Okay, I don't usually write reviews, but this product has worked so well for me that I feel compelled to. First and foremost, the water in my hot tub is extremely important to me. I used to own a Phin System, which was a complete disaster. I was skeptical when I first heard about the @ease system, but I was tired of trying to get my sanitizer levels just right. . . especially with varying amounts of tub use. br>br>This product virtually eliminates the bromine/chlorine headaches that come with owning a hot tub. And it does so without a hitch. My water no longer has a chemical odor. All you have to do is check your alkalinity and PH once a week, and your water will be perfect! Do not own a hot tub without doing this!.

This system is so foolproof, and I love it. Toss in the included start-up kit, twist the pieces together, adjust the dial to the desired level (as directed), and toss it in. When it's time to chlorinate, it flips over, and the mineral side lasts for three months! This is the easiest thing I've ever used!.
When it comes to spa maintenance, I am unreliable. I'm on my fourth pod, and it's fantastic. My spa appears to be much more balanced, and the chlorine level is always just right, making spa maintenance a breeze. I'll keep using this product, but I'm giving it one star less because removing the chlorine pod from the top pod can be difficult. It appears to adhere to the surface and is difficult to remove. Otherwise, it's fantastic.
At the top of the list is a 250 gallon hot tub. During the previous four weeks Maintains a healthy balance. When filling your tub, use an RV water filter. Before going to the spa, take a shower. The worse it gets - The more you sweat, the more chlorine will be released. Every night, I go to the spa. It's impossible to overstate how fantastic this is. It's a wonderful life. Chems should be checked once a week, and they should always be accurate!.
It's a simple way to keep the chlorine level in a spa at a comfortable level. When the cartridge is empty, the unit works properly and flips over. This eliminates the need to add chlorine every few days in order to keep the water clear. The only drawback is that when a new cartridge is installed, the frog will occasionally emit too much chlorine. My levels were a little high, so I had to turn it off for a day to let them return to normal.
I took out the two halves of the box that needed to be put together and opened it. The blue minerals half, unlike the grey chlorine halves, was not packaged separately. At the bottom of the box, there were mineral fragments. It was most likely thrown into the package as a used one. Now I'm not sure how much minerals are in the Blue half or how much was used previously. The issue now is that I have a lot of packaged chlorine halves, and this system requires both halves to function properly - I'm not convinced this is any better than a regular chemical regime and adding a mineral stick to the filter, which is a lot less expensive in the long run.
If you have a hot tub but don't have this, you're making life more difficult for yourself. I tried several chemical solutions before purchasing it, including some that were the same price as or more expensive than this one. To keep the water clean and clear, I had to add chemicals at least once every other day. I couldn't go on vacation without returning to water that appeared to be foul. br>br>When I first purchased FrogEase, I was skeptical because nothing else had worked for me, but this stuff actually works. It's extremely simple to use, and I've only added additional chemicals once in the month and a half that I've had it in. Without a doubt, it was well worth the money.
