The load rating is 800 lbs, according to the company's website. It's stable enough for my wife and me to stand on it. We have a combined weight of about 300 pounds.
The step is not curved, but it is straight. I'm sure it'd work in a round tub as well.
Yes! They've been outside in Northeast weather for two years and are still looking great. The sun, the snow, and the ice all appear to be brand new. There will be no bending or cracking. They're well-built and attractive.

My back porch's wooden stairs had broken, and I needed a quick fix. These are extremely effective. They're not quite as long as my old ones, but they're only an inch or so short on each side of the sliding glass doorway. It has a good width. When wet, they do not become slick. A "give" has been mentioned in previous reviews, and this is correct. They have a slight "bounce" in the middle, but they don't move. My family is a little heavier, and the stairs aren't bending under their weight. The dogs are running and stamping up and down the stairs, with no mercy. These are the steps that I strongly advise you to take.
They do the job well and are light enough to move around when it's time to mow.
I really wanted something a little "fancy" for our new hot tub, but apparently hot tub steps are in high demand, so I bought these in the hopes of getting a nicer set when they became available. However, they are actually quite sturdy for my 210 pound husband and look like they belong in our hot tub, so I am not in a rush to replace them.
There's nothing I don't like about it; it's well-made and sturdy, but not so heavy that it's difficult to move. I like how the step is extra wide, giving me room on both sides of my feet when I stand on it, and how sturdy it is. br>This is a fantastic purchase.
The color is a perfect match for my hot tub. Snapped together in a matter of minutes. It accomplishes the task at hand. You get what you pay for in terms of sturdiness. Some people complained about how flimsy it was, but I don't have any concerns about how sturdy it is. For the money, I give it a high rating.
These steps were purchased after I gave away my $7,000 hot tub and my $89. 00 steps. The new hot tub was returned, but these steps will come in handy when it comes time to buy another hot tub. In the meantime, they're fantastic for aligning my plants on my new deck. This is a win-win situation. Love is all there is.
It's a good product, and it's perfect for the price; step in the middle at 225 pounds, and it sinks. It's not a deal breaker, but it will make you uneasy at times. Otherwise, it's a good value for the money.
Before my tub was delivered, I ordered and received the steps. They were a perfect match for the tub, which made me happy. The only issue I have with these steps is that if you enter or exit the tub at an angle, they will slide across my wooden porch. So far, it hasn't nearly knocked me out, but I'm worried about others. To prevent the sliding, I'll use pads or brackets.
