Color has no bearing on anything. They're in our hot tub, and they're great. It makes no difference which chemicals you use.br>
I'm not sure, but my Hot Tub holds 300 gallons. Check out some of the other brands to see what they have to say. Every single one of these items I've used appears to be the same.
It does not, in fact. We've been using this particular stick for years with no problems, but it doesn't list the minerals.
Depending on how often you use the hot tub, it can last up to four months.

If you run chlorine, this product should be fine; otherwise, it looks like any other stick I've bought. I'm unable to give a rating based on performance. br>br>The product description makes no mention of chlorine spas. When I got the package, the first thing I noticed was that it said bromine free on the box. I'm not sure how that differs from any of the other options, but it made me take a closer look at the pamphlet that came with it. The instructions give clear directions for chlorine spas but make no mention of Bromine. I'm not a professional, so maybe it doesn't matter, but it was enough to make me doubt the product's use. I returned it and will buy others that specifically state for use with Bromine.
Like the cartridge filter, I'm going to replace it every three months. Did we just purchase a hocus pocus device?.
I should have known something was wrong when I saw the price. The average price of these sticks is between $17 and $20. They cost $25 each and are usually very effective. These are a waste of time. After a few days of inactivity, the water begins to stink. The next time I go shopping, I'll pick up the others.
I was hoping to reduce the spa's chemical usage. Unfortunately, after a week, it became milky cloudy - with only a little use This is something I've never seen before in a spa.
Nowhere on the box nor in the manual does
Nowhere does the product state the % effective ingredients! It's possible that there aren't any sanitizing chemicals. I'm going to try the other brand that shows the amount of silver nitrate in the solution. br>br>Other reviewers stated that this product should not be used with bromine, despite the fact that it is labeled as a Bromine-free spa. If this is the case, it should be stated explicitly - ONLY USE CHLORINE - BROMINE SHOULD NOT BE USED IN CONNECTION WITH THIS PRODUCT.
I use this item in an unusual way by putting the cartridge in my skimmer instead of my filter unit because I was concerned about damaging it. It helped keep the water clear by using less chlorine and keeping algae at bay. This is a product that I would strongly recommend.
It's fine. The size can be customized thanks to the multiple sticks.
In the hot tub, it's fantastic.
