No ! br>Any liquid pool and spa chemicals should not be allowed to freeze.
If foaming is an issue, I use this right before getting in the hot tub. After that, I sit in the hot tub for a few minutes. One and a half ounces is all you'll need. It works/
I'm not sure, but I use drinkable tap water, and it does keep the foam at bay. Given the low price, it's worth a shot.
It is contingent on a number of factors. br>1) The more people who visit the spa, the more likely you are to use this. br>as a result of the oils and other factors.... br>2) How often you use this defoamer will depend on how well your spa is balanced. br>I take a couple of capsules every ten days, and I'm the only one who goes to the spa.

This two-pack offers excellent value, and the bottles are long-lasting. When I use these, I don't really "measure" anything; I just squirt it out for a second and see if the bubbles disappear; if they don't, I squirt a little more. The bubbles rapidly diminish and vanish in just 36 seconds. When we run out of this item, I will most definitely repurchase it!.
When the jets in our hot tub are set to high, there is a lot of foaming. Tonight, I turned on the tub and waited for the foam to thicken for about a minute before adding just over half an ounce of the product (350 gallon tub), and the foam vanished in under 20 seconds. The speed with which this stuff circulated through the tub and effectively removed all of the foam was truly amazing. When I turned off the jets and let the water settle, I was pleased to see that it was still as clear as it had been. Those who complain about cloudy water are most likely overdoing it or have other chemistry issues. A small amount goes a long way in this case. I'd suggest measuring because it's easy to overdo it if you just squirt it in. Also, give it a chance to settle in before adding more. br>The price is also much lower than some of the more well-known brands, and I'm sure I'll be using two large bottles of this stuff for a long time!.
I run a B&B and always ask my guests who use the hot tub to rinse off lotions and deodorants in the shower before getting in, but not everyone does, so there's a lot of foam. br>I just got this product and was blown away by the results. I followed the label's instructions, but I used a spray nozzle instead of the cap. It was a huge success. The foam vanished completely after only a few sprays, and it had no effect on the other chemicals in the water. This product has wowed me, and I highly recommend it!.
If this is the only product I use for this hot tub, a gallon of this stuff will probably last me ten years! It comes highly recommended!.
This is a fantastic product that really does make a difference when used. I highly recommend purchasing this item because it lasts for about 3 days of heavy use in a 450 gallon hot tub with 2 capfuls. You won't regret it.
I ordered two quarts of this stuff and used a small squirt to get the foam to settle down. I haven't used it since. I'm pretty sure I could have gotten by with just one bottle for the entire year. Without a doubt, it was well worth the money. This is something I strongly advise you to try. For the price, this is an excellent product.
We used an algaecide, which caused our fountain to foam up like it had been sprayed with dishwasher soap. This product was purchased to solve my suds issue. When I turned on the fountain the next day, the suds were back in full force, so I added more of this product (6 oz for 210 gallons). The next day, the suds had returned in full force. I gave up and let it foam on its own. After deciding that a silicone additive (this product) wasn't the solution, I switched to a combination algacide/non-algacide algaecide. It was a foaming product.
I was disappointed. I had hoped that this product would remove the majority of the foam in our newly purchased hot tub. It helped, but I had to use a lot more than the bottle suggested; additionally, our hot tub is saltwater, so I'm not sure if the results would be different. I looked all over Amazon for an answer, but neither the question nor the reviews provided one. Before I buy anything else, I'm going to do some more research.
