Now that I've had this brush/vacuum for nearly five months, I'm becoming accustomed to it. I like it because it does what it needs to do and is reliable. It takes up what my automatic vacuum can't, and does not cover my entire pool, so my manual brush fills in the void left by my robot. It does take some trial and error to figure out how to get into corners and tight spots, but once you get the hang of it, it can be very powerful. If you can get close enough to the dirt, the suction will pull it into the vacuum. This relies on the suction of the skimmer. Depending on the suction of your skimmer, you may not even have to push it over the dirt. It's a little difficult to reach 2 or 3 places in my pool, but I can use suction to pull debris into the water as long as I get close enough. I think this is situational and may vary based on the skimmer suction of your pool, but for me, it works. The rod hasn't bothered me at all in pushing it There is a smooth and natural glide. Yet, I can see where this seems like a hassle to some people. That's all right. It just doesn't seem like I want to do I noticed there were some people complaining about it not coming with instructions, and I can see their frustration, but it doesn't need to ruin your You will understand what you need to do regarding this item based on common sense. The underside of the unit has three brushes inserted in it. There was nothing wrong with it. The brushes could have been a little wider across the face and the bristles could have been longer, but I was satisfied with them. It was only for a year that I got to use the unit! A short summary is that the bristles of the brushes have become brittle and are being broken 2) The seller should offer replacement brushes to fit.

Hydro Tools has a much lower price point than Aquatix Pro. Since I looked at both and found that they are essentially the same, I am not sure why. At first, I thought the Aquatix Pro might be more narrow, but it appears they are equal in size. The Hydro Tools are so cheap that I plan to order another one. My favorite thing about this pen is that it works so much better than the triangular pen I bought from a local store, which broke after several months. There's nothing like a solid feeling with this one. The bristles on this one could wear down or come off, but it looks like it won't break off at the joint like my other one With this version, it was much faster to clean the pool than with a version that was not weighted.

The item was shipped rapidly, fits my Leslie's standard pole exactly as pictured, and is of good quality. There is an issue with the brush heads falling out easily. I have to jam them back into place. I suppose I could glue them back in place. It is nicely held in place by the weight. I am not sure of the shape though is fine when pushed, but lifts up when retracted unless you hold it flat on the bottom by pushing down hard. If you can't suck it up from the bottom, you can't suck it up from above. It also seems that because of the height of the brush, it isn't getting enough suction. I pass over dirt or leaves quite a few times & the brush does not get suction. The vacuum will be run by an oversized 1,100 gpm pump hosed directly to my 14ft vinyl pool. Hope that power will be enough.

Two major concerns I have regarding this vacuum head exist. In the beginning, the vacuum hose connection must be made. Other than that, I have a major concern about the way the vacuum head lifts off of the bottom of the pool There seems to be something wrong with the head being too light, or the pole connector is too far back on the head for it to effectively remain in contact with the pool surface. The vacuum head is not something I like, especially given my desire to like it.

I received the product, but the sand that fills the base has spilled since the plastic plug came off, and I noticed that the sand was all over the plastic bag and As soon as I filled most of the base with sand, I used super glue to secure the plastic plug so it would work.
