Questions & Answers

Are you able to remove algae with this device?

When it comes to leaves, it doesn't do well with algae

I don't know what size pole would fit this. There seems to be a problem with my inter pole. ?

There is a pole at Walmart that works for 24 hours. This is what 99 looks like searched on Amazon for a few items, but nothing that seems like it would It is awesome that Walmart has a pole that will fit the brush head I bought

Is it safe to use with fiberglass pools? Does it use a standard telepole?

I have a question about this vacuum, it accepts a 1-inch all-purpose battery This 1/4" telescopic pole fits into most swimming pools! If you can't find them at your local swim pool supply store, you can also order them online or even purchase them at The Home Depot, usually in the pool department (but sometimes in the garden department)!

In order to get smaller particles, a mesh that is closer is needed
5/5

Or, like I did, grab a pair of pantyhose. Despite the price of $22, it's well worth it. It also comes with a net, but it's only good for larger debris such as leaves. During my use of it, one thing surprised me. it's not smooth on the bottom of the pool, it will shoot the stuff out of the side instead of having it go In the pool, I noticed that many small particles were making their way to the surface. My answer was to cut a piece of pantyhose and wear it. It extends from the center to the edge (through the center and simply stayed on and was able to grasp everything I was trying to get off the bottom of the box. In order to provide a comparison, I have shared some pictures.

The solution works much better than I had imagined! Poolmaster 28300 Big Sucker Leaf Vacuum was still the best vacuum for me even though some reviews were negative
4/5

When I received the item, I was expecting a small little vacuum, but I was shocked when it On the first picture, you can see a size 9 shoe next to a vacuum cleaner. There is a large mesh bag in the vacuum, which is a nice size. My 18' x 48' pool was covered with leaves and debris as you can see from the second photo. We cleaned the pool in less than 20 minutes. As you can see in photos 3 and 4, the leaf bag was full but still picked A photo of all the collected debris can be seen in the fifth picture. The pool only needs to be shocked and it will be ready for swimming. However, it does not come with a pole, which is its only disadvantage. Until recently, I thought another pool accessory I have would have the capacity There were either too few poles or all of the poles were the same size as the fittings. In that case, they wouldn't To hook the vacuum to the pole, I had to "macgyver" it. If I find a suitable pole later, I will attach it to it but for now, it gets the job done. If you have a problem with debris in your pool, then this is the perfect item for you.

The first time I heard about it, I was sceptical
5/5

I can't believe it! first-time home buyer and first-time pool owner, I was skeptical of this product because of its price and slim design. Living in Florida, it rains heavily in the afternoons and the leaves fall on Instructions are really not necessary for setup since it is so easy. Within moments of putting in the pool, all of the leaves at the bottom of the pool started floating up in the air! I love how easy it was to use, but my water hose is heavy so that added a little excess weight, but it worked like a Thanks so much for your product. I'm very happy with my purchase.

This is a great idea! A few changes could be made
4/5

In a nutshell, I was disappointed to discover that "my idea" (ha) had already been adopted. Compared to "my" pool vacuum, I would have designed it a bit differently A system of elevated venturi jets to capture and sift debris into a bag as an alternative to a skimmer A connection between the pool vacuum and the pump - this redirects collected gunk towards the pump If you have a basket or pool filter, you can use it. In addition to its excellent ability to collect heavy leaves, the BIG SUCKER is also very good at catching smaller objects (such as seeds). As a result of the large pines and oak trees surrounding my pool, it collects a lot of muck and other debris. The spring and autumn are the best seasons for you. With the video I can tell more than I can with words. It was only a matter of adapting the feed that I made the adjustment An amplifier). For the BIG SUCKER, this modification eliminates the need to pull out a garden hose. I say it would be nice if the BIG SUCKER allowed the use of both feeds from the outset Using hoses.

I like this product a lot
5/5

Prior to receiving this product, I was skeptical how well such a simple and inexpensive tool would perform. The hurricane Florence last September caused a lot of damage here. I wasn't able to clean and winterize our above ground pool like I had intended. Just in time to put a cover on it, we barely got it done. I had quite the mess at the bottom of my pool, as you can imagine. Everything I could imagine was at the bottom of my pool -- leaves, funk, and everything else. Then I tried using the extension pole to lift the skimmer to try to get off the leaves. When I tried the vacuum I normally use with the sand filter, that did not work either. Whenever the vacuum head opening got clogged, it would not work. I called it a day after a few hours and not making much progress. The leaf vacuum caught my attention when I was searching on Amazon. Oh my God! Spending my money on this was the best thing I've ever done. Six garbage bags filled with leaves and gross stuff had to be removed from the pool in no more than 45 minutes. I now have a spotless pool that is free of leaves and funk. No need to hook up my sand filter to it. A garden hose and a pole extension already attached to the skimmer were used to connect the pieces. Additionally, while you are using this product, you can run your filter, so all the debris that has been stirring up can be caught by the filter. perfectly within a short period of time and didn't require any heavy lifting at all. In summary, if you have been contemplating whether or not to purchase this product, you should purchase This is a great tool and works great!.

According to the April 7, 2018 item description, the item has been incorrectly classified
3/5

Brushes are not permitted, and there is no second bag The same type of item was purchased by us twice in the past (not the same brand). I tossed them last fall when the brushes broke. It was described as having a larger diameter and a 4th wheel, so I chose it. There was a description on Amazon that read. It came WITH two brush attachments and a second filter bag, which sounded great, since we have a lot of trees and dirt. It does not come with either. The replacement item worked the same way as the original one. It has just been reported to Amazon for inaccurate description. No longer interested in purchasing from this seller.

Tool that works well
4/5

The resulting code is what I was looking for Remove leaves from the bottom) reasonably In addition, it claims that you can flip it over and use it as a skimmer, which doesn't get the job done Although the wheels are cheap, it probably would have been better to purchase a model that had better wheels for a few dollars more. Investing in a fine mesh bag is a smart decision. Additionally, I bought a hose adapter so that I could use my Polaris hose with it. The idea of having ping pong balls in the net is also one worth thinking about.

This is a fantastic product
5/5

It's the Poolmaster Big Sucker I love! There is no doubt that this is a very effective product. My screen enclosure for my pool was broken by a big tree during Hurricane Irma, and there were lots of debris in the water. It took me hours to get the branches out, but I never had luck with the leaves that covered more than half the pool's bottom. As soon as I got my hands on the Poolmaster Big Sucker, I knew it was going to do the job. I think this is a great idea! I was surprised to learn how easy it was to clean up leaves once it was hooked up and put in my swimming pool. It was necessary for me to empty bag 4 Since the volume is large, I had to use the machine 5 times, but after eight times I was finished in less than 15 minutes and every leaf and pine needle was picked up easily. It is a Big Sucker that I adore.
