It's not too heavy, but I'm not sure how heavy it is. I don't think this works well, and the picture is deceiving, it's a lot smaller than the actual item.
A pool vacuum this good is hard to beat! My life would never be the same without her
You can use any of the pool poles. You must, however, ensure that the vacuum's pole is a little extended to prevent the vacuum from not snapping Although the vacuum appears to not fit, the telescopic pole can make it appear as if it will not fit.
It is attached to the clear plastic when you twist the brush on the front. It is then taken off, and then it must be put back together again. Personally, I don't think that it can be twisted. Whenever I turn it back on, maybe I'm wimpy, but it's hard for me to seat the steering wheel back on. Although there is a lip that it slides under, I still use it anyway because I don't mind the hassle. What I like most about it the way it cleans leaves that get stuck at

A great product turned into a disaster after a while. This company's policy is only to repair or replace. This has upset me quite a bit. After it has been repaired or replaced, I will have six weeks of time to clean my pool before it has to be returned. There is not a single soft spot on it, and I expect it to break in the future in other ways as well. It is a cheap twist-in (which holds the filter bag) made of brittle plastic and is definitely cheap from the viewpoint of durability. Glue is the only way to secure it, and the fitting is not tight. There is a high probability that this product will break, therefore it is not worth buying.
UPDATE PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT and do not buy anything else from a company that will not refund your money if you (quickly) realize the product is cheap and will not last. My call to the company was answered with a "no refunds" message. In an attempt to get the links out quickly, I clicked in a follow-up email Voilà! You simply need to pick up your Amazon email. Amazon will give you a refund if you request this through their website! It was a pleasure doing business with.
My pool looks amazing since I purchased this a couple days ago and just used it today, and I was pleasantly surprised at how well it handled the sand and algae! This is something I would recommend! A later update will be posted! * Update * In 2020, the unit would not turn on, so I had to send it back for a repair. As a matter of fact, my credit card was charged for shipping. I'm fortunate to have the same one, however, as my brother. It is now just a matter of waiting until I hear back from it.
I was very disappointed. There are a few problems with it it doesn't pick up pine needles, the microfilmer bag is difficult to use along with the main bag, and the bag is so small that it fills up quickly and takes a very long time to empty, clean, and attach again. The battery made it not returnable. I wanted to return it, but discovered that it is not returnable. Sorry to hear that. That's very true.
This vacuum has a good suction, and it picks up leaves and debris of medium and small size. The gunk that settles at the bottom of the pool is removed with ease when using this product. It was used to clean my pool just before closing it for the season, and the pool was so clean, it looked like a new one. I only have a small objection (and it's a tiny one) the debris bag fills up so quickly, or maybe my pool was just exceptionally dirty as a result of the typhoon, so I had to stop and dump it several times before I was done. In any case, this vacuum cleaner is worth the money. I would purchase.
is a good product I have bought a few times now, it is easy to use, and it has great suction, it has been one of my favorites lately.
A super little vacuum! I love it! A 22' round pool 54" tall was a real challenge to clean with the hose powered pool vacuum that came with it, so I bought one. It allows me to clean the entire pool twice on a single charge thanks to its power and efficiency. Then, I go over it one more time with the fine particle filter. I first filter it with the large particle filter, then allow the water to settle again. It is a pleasure to use my pool during our heat wave because it is clean and ready for use.
It was exactly as described! My Polaris was not able to pick up silt, but this little Catfish picks it up nicely. I saved a great deal of money by not having to hire a pool tech person to do what this thing does. Recommend on the highest level.
My small fountain is 81 gallons and I purchased this. Every couple of days, a layer of silt covers it. It's really nice to have a water vacuum like this. It was only $60 when I bought it! I wish I bought it then! Even so, my purchase was only $100 (I have seen it for much more elsewhere). This investment will pay off in the end. In the past few months, I purchased an above-ground pool measuring 12' x 12'. As well as cleaning up dirt and leaves, this vacuum also picks up sand and silt. It is a much better system than hoses! I am able to easily attach this to my pool extension *BR>Another impressive thing about the pool cover is that it's not a battery, it's entirely rechargeable, and it holds a full charge if it's fully charged for the entire pool. Water fountains need to be swept. The micro bag that comes with it is what I use to collect the silt & debris I also like the bag it comes in since it's small and very useful. br>Super easy to clean, has a powerful suction for a small vacuum, and is very easy to store. * It is too small according to some reviewers. It's not perfect, but I love exactly what it is meant to do.
