I don't see why you couldn't, though you would need a floater to do so.
On the label, there aren't any. This is what I use in my home spa.

When I first opened it, I realized it wasn't a 4 pack. Instead of 5 pounds of tablets (as stated on the container), there were 4 pounds of bromide powder and a half-dozen broken tablets. If you use a traditional bromide dispenser in your spa, the powder will fall through and dissolve, resulting in a change in water chemistry. Perhaps I received a bad batch, or perhaps this product is a dud. Buyer beware, in any case.
For years, we've used Walmart's bromine tabs. I put 6- For our tub, we have 8 floats that last about a week. These tabs had been in the float for two weeks and had yet to dissolve. To make the tub clean again, we had to change the water twice. They might work if you have a float that can hold two dozen tabs, but not in a tub.
They're not going away! These tablets aren't going to dissolve in your mouth. We used them in our hot tub and found that the bromine level was nearly zero. br>br>I fully opened my dispenser, and the water still contains almost no bromine. Over a week after I put it in the water, the tablets appear to have barely dissolved inside the dispenser.
Buyer beware. It made a huge mess and took a long time to figure out, but with the help of the local water company, I was able to solve the problem. Don't act as if you weren't forewarned.
Keeping the LSI stable while using these tabs was a constant struggle for me. I stopped using them and switched back to granulated chlorine dosing, which brought the chemistry back to normal. I'm not going to use the tabs any longer.
However. In my hot tub, I've been using SpaGuard Brominating Tabs for a long time and they're fantastic. Ordering them on-line, on the other hand, is a bit more difficult. The line was a flop. When I opened the container, I found many of the tablets cracked and a cloud of dust. They don't seem to ship very well. Despite the fact that the on-line Because the line price was lower, I'll most likely purchase my next container from a local pool. I'm going to go to a supply store to make sure they're not damaged before I buy them.
The tablets are fine, but about half of the container was filled with powder. As a result, half of the tablets had crumbled to the point where they could no longer be used. I'm going to look for another source of information.
I'm with the other reviewers on this one. The tabs do not dissolve when I use this product. The test strip is white when I check my Bromine level, indicating that there is no Bromine in the water. For the past week, I've had the dispenser in my spa. I'm going to go back to my old brand because these don't work in my spa.
