I have the granular type of bromine sanitizer on hand, but I'm not sure how to use it in the hot tub. ?

I'm not aware of any such thing.

Is this the same as the sanitizer for brilliance? It's bromine, and I use it about once a week to refill my floater. What do I do if I can't find what I usually buy?

Unfortunately, the Sanitizer Nuggets have been discontinued by Brilliance, which is why you are having difficulty finding them. Bromo Tabs are now recommended for use in the floater. This granular is far too fine for the floater.
