These Bromine tablets are used in a floater in my 400 gallon spa because Bromine is less harsh on the skin than chlorine. To measure the free Bromine in the water, you'll need a bromine-specific ph test strip. Because of a fire at the FL plane that manufactures chlorine tabs, there is a shortage. The SpaChoice is a great alternative.

Routine maintenance does not necessitate the use of sodium bromide. It's used to create a base concentration of bromine when you first start up the spa with fresh water, as well as when your bromine level drops and you need a quick boost.

For packing, I only used a few air pillows. There was only half a container of product on hand. I spent an hour cleaning up the mess and airing the place out. It's worth noting that the lid is secure. I'm not pleased.
You expect a 1/2 gallon bucket to be full when you see it. This is not the case. About a third of this bucket is 5 pounds. Putting it in a clear quart zip lock bag seems like a more honest approach.
it is possible to return it These don't dissolve and don't show up on my test strips (which work as expected when a ph increaser is added and show any changes). They aren't returnable, either. I'm a little miffed because these weren't cheap!.
Bucket weighing 5 lbs Although I recognize that inflation has set in, this price increase was absurd, and it was still the best deal I could find. The tablets fit perfectly in my bromine dispenser and keep the water sparkling clean.
I use these in my outdoor water features as well as in the Kaboom toilet bowl device. There is no odor of chlorine.
My only gripe is that several of the tablets were pulverized, and the box's lid was half off. Maybe the delivery truck was loaded by gorillas?.
As far as the SPA is concerned, everything is going swimmingly.
