My dealer has purple cartridges with 200 g of bromine that they claim 33% more than yellow cartridges (=150 g of bromine in the yellow/green cartridges). true?

Yes, this is correct. Because the purple cartridge contains more bromine, it will last four weeks at a setting of three, whereas a yellow cartridge will last three weeks at the same setting. The bromine content is the same, and the release rate, as far as I know, should be the same. Not only do dealers sell the purple canisters, but there are also online suppliers who sell them.

Is this yellow bromine cartridge identical to the green bromine cartridge? I've always used green Bromine, but I can't seem to locate it now. ?

Purple cartridges are sold to dealers by brands like Caldera, Hot Springs, Tiger River, Lime Light, and others. Green cartridges are sold to dealers by brands like Marquis, Emerald, Leisure Bay, Pacific, and Saratoga, among others. The Bromine Cartridges in Yellow, Purple, and Green are interchangeable and can be used in place of one another. br>Yellow appears to be 150 grams, while green/purple appears to be 200 grams.

This is excellent hot tub material! Since the beginning of our hot tub, I've used the spa frog bromine kit! It keeps the water clean and doesn't smell like chlorine! I'm not going to lie, the bromine dissolves quickly, but I have to keep it on six the majority of the time

The blue mineral one can be three or four, and it can last up to two seasons. However, I believe that by working together, they were able to keep the water in good condition. Other chemicals are only used to lower the pH, reduce foam, and make the water smell better after it has been used. I've never seen water that was green or hazy before.

Always Brilliant has a new bromine cartridge that ships from Amazon

These are the cartridges I use in my Caldera spa. For ease of ordering and delivery (go Prime! ), I prefer to shop on Amazon. I've recently suspected that the cartridges I've purchased from other Amazon Merchants were old stock because they had a spoiled bromine odor (you know what I'm talking about if you've tried to use bromine that's been sitting around too long). This time, I ordered a cartridge from Always Brilliant (Amazon Merchant), and after a week of use, the 'old bromine' smell has vanished, and my water has returned to smelling normal/correct. I wish the Spa Frog manufacturers would include dates on these cartridges for tracking purposes (hint hint).

I didn't realize how much better this product is than chlorine until I forgot to replace this cartridge a couple of weeks ago

I had no choice but to use chlorine granules, and while everything appears to be in order on my tester, the fumes are too strong for me to enjoy using the softub. I also noticed that my chlorine levels were always perfectly balanced while using it. I had no idea I needed to replace them every three weeks or so, so I'll be purchasing a larger supply.

Bromine release is inconsistent, with each cartridge having a different amount of bromine

When two cartridges with the same release number were used, one had too much bromine and the other had too little. This is the first time we've bought this product directly from the manufacturer, and we've never had a problem before.

In your spa frog system, it works great. There's no need to worry about the contents spilling out before you can use it because it comes wrapped in plastic. When this yellow one is combined with the blue one, my hot tub stays sparkling clean at all times.
