In addition, tubs exposed to more contaminants from the environment and people will have a higher bromine demand and use more tablets. When both of these factors are taken into account, a 5 pound container in a tub with light use could last two years. 3 months, with the possibility of a longer period. I've always used Leslie's bromine tabs, but I went with Clorox because of the price and brand name, as have other reviewers. Unfortunately, this did not keep my tub as clean as it had been previously. I'm not a chemist or anything, so. I was perplexed and full of self-doubt because I didn't think I was very smart. I became depressed, and I promised myself that I would never bathe again. After spending a year cleaning my thoughts in a Himalayan monastery, I returned home to find my tub shining and crystal clear again, thanks to Leslie's brand bromine; my depression was gone, and the only remnant of my journey was a collection of goofy tattoos from a monk named "tony. " br>br>In conclusion, it isn't the best. Use Leslie's if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself.
The hot tub has been in our possession for a little more than a year. I despise maintaining things in general, so I try to keep it to a minimum. I used to add a Tbsp or so of chlorine after each use, or whenever I felt like it. Although I am not a tester, I can tell when something is clean. When I add too much, it burns my eyes and irritates my skin. That does not sit well with anyone. So, after reading reviews, I came to the conclusion that an auto feed system was a viable option. I don't need the sanitizing chemicals to be at their maximum because we have a Jacuzzi 385 with clear ray. I purchased the Life dispenser shown in the photo, as well as Chlorox bromine tabs. Wow is all I have to say. It's a breeze to clean the tub now. I just twisted the top of the Life dispenser to level 1 and let it go after popping 5 tabs in the bottom and screwing the lid back on. I'm still blown away by the results after a week. The tub is clean, but the chlorine smell is faint, compared to what it was previously. As the water moves, a small amount of clean foam forms, indicating that it is working. There will be no more itchy skin or burning eyes. And there are still three tabs left, so I should be good for a few weeks before I need to refill. I'm very happy with this delivery system and Bromine product; all I have to do is set the floater out when I get in and back when I leave. This isn't a major issue. I suppose it could be limited to the filter area and still produce reasonable results, but I haven't tried it. As is, I'm very happy.
When compared to the Kaboom tablets, it does not work as well. In comparison to when I had the kaboom tablets in there, I noticed my toilet rims began to get red water stains again. These tablets have been in for over a month and are still only 1/3 of the way through.
For the past few years, we've been purchasing Leisure Time tabs. Clorox tabs were cheaper, so I bought them. well. Clorox, Clorox, Clorox, Clorox, Clorox, Clorox, Clo My hot tub's water took on a brown hue. I assumed it was a clump of dirt thrown in by the kids. Drained. refilled. The situation is identical. drained. refilled. lid that is closed I had previously used it. Again, a brown tint. The water bill I received was very nice. I'm fat, and I'm sorry Clorox, but I wish I'd spent the extra few dollars on Leisure Time. In this house, there is no winner.
I've always used Natural Chemistry's bromine tabs, but they're becoming harder to come by, so I tried the Clorox tabs as a bulk alternative, and there was no discernible difference. There was no discoloration as reported by some reviewers. With this large Clorox jug, the price per tab is much lower, so I purchased a second one to last me a long time.
I have a portable hot tub and have tried tablets that were much more expensive, but Clorox products are less expensive and of higher quality. Many other tablets don't last as long as these do. I strongly suggest it.
Despite the numerous negative reviews, I decided to give these a try because they were significantly less expensive than the tabs I was previously using. I'm starting to think these tabs have a lower bromine concentration and more filler because I have to almost completely open the dispenser to keep the concentration up. Will return to the more expensive brand, which provides better value in the long run.
Because of the perceived value, I recently switched to bromine tabs. Despite using many more tabs in our floater than with previous brands, I'm finding that we're having some trouble getting the bromine level to the acceptable operating range. I'll continue to experiment, but I doubt I'll buy it again.
