For the past three weeks, I've been taking Bromine tabs. What did I hear from an oxidizer? Is there a way to get the bromine to work?

Hello, Clorox Pool is made by us. Products used in a spa It's possible that you didn't get a bromine reading for a variety of reasons. The first is a lack of tablets to provide a sufficient level of sanitizer. Because bromine tablets dissolve slowly, it may take several tablets to achieve a consistent reading. The next situation is when there are a lot of contaminants in the water that are causing a bromine demand; in this case, it's best to shock the water with a fast-acting bromine or chlorine to quickly destroy the contaminants. An extremely high bromine level in the water is a less common cause of a 0 bromine reading. Bromine at high levels can react with test strips and liquid reagent test kits, bleaching the reagents and making them appear low or zero. To reactivate the bromide salts in the water, bromine chemistry involves shocking the water with bromine, chlorine, or an oxygen-based shock. Following the shocking, however, the scenarios above still apply. br>br>If you have any additional questions or concerns, please contact us at 1-888-888-888-888-888-888-888-888-888-888-888-888-888-888-888-888-888-888-888- 800- SOS- POOL.

When will it be safe to use the hot tub after these have been added?

You should put these in a floating dispenser rather than just dumping them into the hot tub. You can use the hot tub while the dispenser is floating in it if you do it this way. Simply check the water on a regular basis.

For sanitizing the toilet bowl, it's used in the toilet tank
5/5

It can be used in the tank of a toilet. When looking at bowl tablets (the blue clorox ones), I got the idea from amazon reviews. These are said to last longer and do a better job (which I have discovered to be true). For this reason, I'm pleased with them. I'm going to keep using it.

Doesn't work in the slightest! I suppose what you pay for is what you get

I've been using Leisure bromine for a long time. The only issue is the cost. br>I put the bromine in the dispenser in my Sundance spa like I would regular tablets. br>After three days, there was no reading. br>I waited two more days, and there was no reading. And it wasn't dissolving. br>I added three more tablets and waited three more days. br>There was no bromine reading. I ordered a new test strip kit as well as 2 pounds of Leisure bromine. br>I tested with the new strips and found no bromine. On the second day, I had a bromine reading, so I removed it and replaced it with Leisure. Everything has now returned to normal. br>I would not recommend the Bromine Chlorox brand, and it is not returnable to Amazon.

It is undeniably effective
5/5

Instead of buying refills, I use these in my kaboom continuously clean toilet cleaning system. This lasts a long time for me, and I only clean the insides of my toilets once in a while. That may sound revolting, but it's true, and my toilets appear to be brand new. There's really no need to do anything other than flush with these tablets and my Cadet 3 toilet, which swishes the water around the bowl. Because I have a water softener, I don't get mineral lines, but these tablets kill and prevent bacteria in the bowl with each flush for me. These don't have a strong odor (like chlorine tablets) and you won't be able to smell them after a few hours. 2 Tablets will last approximately 2 hours. 3 months in each of my bathrooms, and the price is great on Amazon, around $15. For those of you who use this in the toilet tank. My Kaboom tubing eventually swelled and turned white, and I've been looking for a replacement tube in local stores for a few years, but they aren't available. They advise you to purchase a completely new fill tube kit. NO, I'm not going to do it for 6" of tubing. If you need to replace the tubing, I found 10 feet of silicone tubing on Amazon by accident. You can copy and paste item B08H597B7T into the search field. You might be able to find another silicone tube that works locally, or even on Amazon. The following are the specifications: 3MM ID, 12'' ID, 0 OD: 27'' (7MM). Because I had 10 feet of it, I was able to replace all of the tubing in all of the toilets and still have some left over. In the toilet tanks, it works fantastically, and the bromine hasn't distorted the silicone tubing in the least. Because the silicone is stretchy, it will fit snugly onto the fill valve as well as the Kaboom cartridge, preventing any leakage.

It works! I was having trouble keeping the chemistry in my hot tub in check (I'm a new hot tub owner), but I bought these brominating tabs with a floater and I'm blown away! The end result is spectacular! It keeps my water crystal clear and helps me maintain a healthy pH balance

The toilet is kept clean without smelling like bleach
5/5

I adore you so much! I couldn't stand the automatic toilet cleaner's strong bleach odor, and I didn't want any other "flowery" scents. I've been extremely happy since I put one of these tablets in the bleachy one's container. The odor is very faint and quickly dissipates, the tablet lasts "forever," and the toilet is cleaned automatically. Love it, love it, love it, love it, love it, love it, love.

Kaboom Refill Substitute could be a good option
4/5

I purchased the Kaboom Scrub. Amazon offers a free toilet cleaning system (refills are difficult to come by and expensive if they are. ) The refills, according to my research, contain the following ingredients in weight order: 30- 60% 3- Bromo- chloro- 5,5- dimethyl- 2,4- 10-imidazolididinedione is a chemical compound that is used to make imidazolidinedione 30% 1,3- Dichloro- 5,5- 10-dimethylhydantoin dimethylhydantoin dimethylhydantoin dimethyl 30% 2,4- 1,3-imidazolidinedione is a type of imidazolidinedione. dichloro- ethyl5- methyl- , and sodium chloride. br>br>I'm replacing these Clorox Spa 20001CSP brominating tablets with these Clorox Spa 20001CSP brominating tablets, based on other reviews. The Clorox tabs have the same physical dimensions as the Kaboom tablets do, but the Clorox Spa tables are 98% 1- Bromo- chloro- 5,5- 2% other ingredients and 2% dimethylhydantoin ("BCDMH"). As you can see, they appear to have one similar, if not identical, ingredient in common, but Kaboom has its own "stuff" (I'm not a chemist). Still, based on my experience, the Clorox tabs keep the water and bowl clean (before using the tabs, the water had some black stuff growing in it). This makes sense, as BCDMH "is an excellent source of both chlorine and bromine as it reacts slowly with water, releasing hypochlorous acid and hypobromous acid," according to Wikipedia. " The biggest difference I can see is that these Clorox tablets don't dissolve as quickly and have less of a chemical odor (which I like because even if the tabs don't work, at least the bowl smells clean:) ) ). In any case, I have one. I've gone through 5 pounds of Clorox tabs so far, and at this rate, I'll be using them for another decade.

This item was purchased to be used with Kaboom
4/5

I bought these instead of the Kaboom tablets because they were less expensive. When I first received these, I noticed that several of them had been crushed or broken, and there was a lot of powder on the bottom. Although the odor is stronger than that of Kaboom tablets, I will continue to use them to save money because they work.
