Questions & Answers

If we use chorine instead of bromine in our inline mineral system, is this an appropriate product?

It's supposed to direct body scale and oil from the water into the filter, from what I've seen. I've used seaclear with both systems. This seems to have worked for me after approximately 10 minutes. The last 20 years have been tough. Hope you have a good day

What is this product like? Is it liquid?

I prefer this brand of shock oxidizers over this brand, but some shock oxidizers are liquid.

Can you tell me what the active ingredients are?

It is composed of potassium peroxymonosulfate. Ingredients that are 2% or less inert. Active oxygen concentrations are 8%*br>3. 76 percent

Is it possible to use this ?

Using this type of shock when bromine is present is a good idea

I really like it
5/5

This is what the previous owners left us when we moved into their home with a hot tub. The filter keeps the water clear and works well. We decided to stick with it since it had a comparable price to other brands.

It was a disappointment to deal with this company
3/5

When I tried to use the product I found that I had a hard time opening the cap because there was residue around it. I have used this product for years and yet I had a disappointing experience this time. Once I got the lid off, I saw that none of the container's seams were sealed, and there was only 2/3 of it filled. This item had probably been opened and used before it was delivered to me. It will no longer be worth my time to order products from this shipper.

Worked like a charm! I have been using this filter for six months now and my spa is crystal clear without any issues! It will be best if you leave the top off for at least 60 minutes after installing this
5/5

By doing so, all contaminants which oxidize can escape and not get caught in the cover and fall back into the bathtub. The hard way is the only way to learn. No matter how you stay dry, you'll smell like a wet dog if you don't remove the cover.

An increase in price of 20%, half of what it would cost on the web
5/5

A very great product is SeaKlear. It does what it's supposed to do and does it well. Pool Geek charges double the price on Amazon compared to the price on their website. I asked them about the difference in price (in conjunction with the 20% increase in price) but never heard back, so I purchased the same item from a competitor for $16 and it shipped the same.

This is the product in which I am used to and I have used it for the past 20 years
5/5

Hot Tub Company used to sell this product to me. However, they no longer sell this product. This is the product I have been using for the past twenty years and it has served me well.

It feels great to use it and it smells great too! The last year, I sanitized with chlorine and found that unless a large amount of chlorine was kept in the tub to prevent organic growth, it emitted an organic smell when opened
5/5

By the tech's recommendation, I should use spa schlock instead of chlorine. Four days after the foam was removed, the smell was gone and the water was clear. Also, there isn't a chlorine smell at all! This is awesome!.
