There is a different disinfecting chemical (cal hypo) in Burnout 73. Furthermore, it is considerably more powerful. There are also ingredients in Smart Shock that are designed to reduce cloudy water and algae growth.
I don't believe it does.
There is powder in it, yes
It seems like there has been a chlorine demand recently. The pool water will need to be tested at a pool store to ensure the levels are correct. There may be green tint to the pool, in which case algaecide should be added. Before adding algaecide, it is best to brush the pool.

As far as pool products go, this is the best I've ever used. Eight years ago, when we bought our house, the pool was already in place, I had no idea how to deal with the pool, I was having constant trouble from day one. My wife and I have a giant ancient oak, which I both admire and dislike. It is a hot day in LA, so the shade keeps the pool cool. I have hardly had any happiness this winter, but the leaves, acorns, green pollen, and long squiggly leaves of fall have. By chance, I bought Burn Out last summer and it turned out to be All other products are irrelevant because it does the same thing. You guys do not need to buy all of it. I used Burn Out on recycle, Sink and Sweep and the water was never a problem. I would appreciate if you left me some.
In accordance with the advice of my pool supply people, I began using Burnout 73 a few months ago instead of bargain shock. I have never experienced anything so fast or for such a long period of time. The pool geek had the best price I was able to find, by the way. You will definitely see the difference when you see the results when you pay a few extra pennies.
In the event that you have an on-premises system If you have an in-ground pool, then you should shock it periodically in order to eliminate organic matter. I was able to solve the problem this way. Sprinkling salt around the edge of the pool and circulating the pool pump will do. There will be a dramatic increase in chlorine level, but it will return back to swimmable levels within a few days.
I used twice as much and the product appeared gray, giving the appearance of dirt in my pool. The pool looked much better before using this product, would not recommend,.
Use caution! I was charged a lot of money for this liner, and it stained it. Addition to the pool is difficult because it is hard to dissolve.
I am using it with a rainwater collect system and it is just as I expected it to be. I am happy with the.
My calcium was low enough to require a box of calcium hypo-since it's easier! I would normally use liquid pool shock (bleach), but when I tested my pool, I found I could use the box of cal hypo. Now we just need the heat to make the pool ready for summer!.
The product worked well. We were having algae issues and put a few packages in and it quickly cleared up the problem. You can count on me to continue using it.
