Questions & Answers
Bristles made of aluminum were and are of very poor quality. Several of the bristles began to rust and fall off almost immediately. They had not been noticed on the bottom, so I found they left stains on the bottom after one The pool in which this photo was taken has a plaster bottom. The people who sold me the brush on line were rude and unprofessional. You would be better off buying a better quality brush right from a local pool supply store, where at least you will have better customer service.
Though I am unsure about the warranty, this product is much better built and about half the price of the professional model that I purchased from Leslies Pool Supply. The product I bought has been in use ever since. Despite its age, it is in excellent condition

In search of a good sturdy pool brush, I came across this one. This brush is not the one I wanted, so I was hoping it would be the one I wanted, but the bristles stay outside my pool just like all those It is not something I would recommend. There is still a good one out there for me. This is a picture of what I've been finding in my pool cleaner (tiger shark) since I began using it.
The plastic bristle brushes I was given by my parents used to be all that I had, but since taking over the responsibility for the finances, I did some research to find In spite of the good reviews, this brand has lived up to the hype and continues to deliver high-quality products Please read on. Here's a tip As long as you have a pool cleaner and a vacuum, I wouldn't expect you to have to brush too much Chemicals sufficient for the job. The purpose of brushing is to make the algae accessible to the chlorine, otherwise it won't go away. You will have to do a little more cleaning if you use brushing as your main source of cleaning.
This brush I forgot I ordered, but when it was time to buy a new one and I found it, I realized I had purchased it in June It has been working very well for a long time on a plaster swimming pool and is having no issues. It cleans well and scrubs quite well. I've just recently noticed that the bristles have started to lose their grip, so I'm returning to this site to purchase it My hope is that it will be as well made as the one I bought five.
As long as the bristles don't fall into the pool, it works well. It occurs to me these brushes are Brushes - in fact, most of them - work just fine By folding the bristles in half and inserting them into the base of the plastic brush, the pin is folded in half, while the metal pin is folded into half and inserted. It appeared that at least one bunch of bristles could not be fully inserted into the machine, which led to bristles falling out during use in my case. After the bristles had disappeared, I found them scattered on an underwater step and was able to recover and discard them the next day. The bristles fortunately not been stepped on nor were they able to work their way into my pool pump as a result. It was because the bent pin they came loose from had not been fully inserted in the plastic head that I know that those bristles were not properly inserted. The mechanical manufacture of the brush would not have caught this error if a quality control inspector had taken a quick look at it, so I are not able to point the finger at the manufacturer. Based on an examination of the remaining bristles, the ones that I can clearly see all seem to be fully seated inside their respective holes. However, other than that mishap, the brush does a great job at blasting algae off pool walls and floors, without requiring too much of my time. Therefore, if this brush had been based solely on what it could do, it would have been rated 5 stars. You should closely examine the finished product before using this brush if you purchase.
It has been used for over a year now, and I'm finding with the plastic bristles that they are beginning to wear down, and the metal bristles are In swimming, I recently had something stab into the bottom of my foot as I was climbing the steps to get out of the pool. My first thought was that I was bit by something, but as I looked closer, it turned out to be a sharp metal wire, similar to a copper grill brush, but steel instead. When I inspected the metal bristles of the pool brush, I noticed that they matched the ones I found in the pool. I was a little surprised as to how they had possibly arrived in the pool. In addition to two of the steel bristles, there were also two other bits of debris settling on the steps (debris pushes there Until the point at which that happened, I was quite satisfied with the brush however, The safety issue seems pretty serious at that point.
In my pool's plaster surface over the winter, calcium bits sharply pointed grew and were very sharp, so if you walked on the floor, your feet would get cut. As well, dirt had attached itself to the calcium, so a plastic bristle brush would not remove it. It was effective to remove calcium with sandpaper, but that was not practical for a pool with dimensions of 20x40. I ordered this brush, and it has been able to get rid of the calcium build-up in my teeth. Not only did it not leave any unsightly marks, it was also very quick. A few other things I did in order to aid that process were By lowering the pH to 7, the pH level is now Those values are 80 for total alkalinity and 2 for total acidity. There are some new descaling solutions added. The calcium deposits were then more easily scrubbed away because the deposits were loosened. This is the lesson I Calcium hardness shouldn't be allowed to get out of hand. The pool water had a dissolved oxygen level of over 300ppm when it.
It's hard to tell if durability will be an issue. Instead of dealing well with areas where the bottom meets the wall and wherever curves in the walls meet, this brush struggles at the corner where the wall meets the bottom. Nevertheless, if your pool had many flat sides and few curves, this brush is the right one for you. Observe how the plastic edges of the brush are crumbling off, not sure how long the brush will last.
It is a fine brush. It only comes with one clip, and the clip isn't as easy to use as other clips. Unlike other brands, this clip only has one set of prongs and does not have extra holes to assist with connecting and disconnecting from the pole. The pole has been biting into the plastic, so I am not sure how long the clip will last. Other than that, it is fine. It loses a few bristles every time I use it, but I've seen.
