It is true. In my experience, it works fine with pebble tek pools the only downside being that the replaceable feet will wear a little sooner than the feet on a regular plaster pool.
There is a gauge and hoses included with the unit.
Two years after purchasing the shoes and wings, they need to be replaced. As part of my maintenance program, I replace the whole unit after three years since it costs more than $100 a year to maintain, and it can break down at any time.
In case one foot has a problem or is not functioning at the same capacity, that will cause the vacuum to go round If you plant one foot in the same spot but try to walk with the other, it will be difficult. If you keep going round in circles, you'll get nowhere. Ideally, both of these are working together, and the vacuum will go straight with only a slight veer as it Earlier this year, I took my vacuum to Leslie's Pools, and they repaired inside parts or replaced the The parts cost from $110 to $200, but I didn't have to pay any labor. Compared to replacing the whole unit, this option is less expensive. The first time I did it, I did it automatically. what about The whole thing needs to be changed. Seven years have passed since I got it. This is worth every penny because it saves me so much cleanup time and time I would otherwise have to spend manually vacuuming.

for years and I could tell it was on its last leg because patches of areas would be missed. The new vacuum went away as soon as I put it in. The only change I learned when reading the directions was that the hoses shouldn't be coiled. Until I read your post, I had no idea what you meant. My Hayward vacuum used to be removed and the hoses coiled up at the end of the pool when I first got it. If I left it like that for days, I would be very bored. This is not the way to do it! It appears that this causes memory to accumulate in the hose, and this will cause troubles In the past, I've never been able to figure out why my hoses weren't getting tangled as well as why certain parts of the pool were never cleaned. The answer is now in my hands. When it comes to reading the directions, sometimes it really is worth it. The vacuum is a great device, by the way. Clearly, there are many more for a higher price. It doesn't make sense for me to pay that much.
I purchased this in June 2017, it was my second "Navigator". I had a terrible experience with the warranty and customer service. A couple of maintenance checks took place over the last 15 years of the first These are ups I did on my own. The first time I did it, I was happy with it! Approximately 6 cleanings were achieved with this new one When the steering mechanism broke, the wheel fell. In other words, once it hit a wall, it will remain there. There was no chance to Email was sent to Hayward. The store provided the names and phone numbers of 3 pool stores in the area It is impossible to find a Hayward service provider that still supports the product. Obviously, I need to contact them, as they have sent me contact info for two more candidates. IMPORTANT NOTE It is only the parts that are covered by the warranty. The labor is not covered under the policy. In a nutshell,.
I have done a thorough investigation of why it stopped working, but can't find an obvious cause. I called the product support number as soon as possible and was told a technician would contact me back, but as of last week, I have not heard from him. I have called product support a second time. If I see an improvement in their response, I will update my review. A NEW UPDATE Despite repeated attempts to contact a technician, he has yet to call.
Previously, I had a Aquabot, and it really was a BEAST, worked like a charm! This was a poor choice, I should have invested the extra $100 for the AquaBot or similar. It has been sitting in my shed for quite a while. In fact, it is used to keep a pool clean rather than to clean it. There is no way I could put my aquabot in a fully algae infested pool and it wouldn't get anything. This thing just sucks, and I can't get over it. I am so mad at myself for missing the deadline to mail it back. I requested a return and missed the deadline to mail it back.
I have used it for the past few months with no issues. There follows a complete breakdown of the bearings. When you have a pebbletech or pebblesheen pool with steps, the internal wheel will get stuck in the edge of the step and wear out the bottom of the arms. If they didn't use these cheap ass bearings made in China, it probably would be a good product. Just make sure you plan on purchasing the part replacement kit every year, if you buy this. All the parts except for the shell are in this one. There is no difficulty in repairing it. If the quality of the product isn't improved, I won't purchase it again.
Our previous unit had stopped moving, so we bought this one to replace it. Our company has its own production facility Having a fairly steep incline from the deep end to the shallow end, this is an inground pool. It was very difficult to get this new unit up the steep incline to the shallow end out of the box. It was noticed that the drive feet on the new unit were plastic, while they were cork on our old machine. Previously, we had purchased some replacement cork feet in the hopes that it would solve the performance problems with the old unit. There were just wear and tear issues with the unit, which prevented it from working properly. Replacement of the plastic feet on the new unit with cork feet was done by removing the new cork feet from the old unit. The system now works as it should. A good portion of the time it spends in the shallow region and it doesn't have any trouble negotiating the incline, either way. Had it come with cork feet out of the box, I would have given this product five stars.
In terms of clean floor and sides, it does so in a proportionate manner. The whole thing gets on the bottom after an hour of running. This is a very good book. Suction was a little more tricky in testing, but it was still easy to install. Turned out that my pump wasn't able to handle both the skimmer and the vacuum very well, so I turned the skimmer off at the pump and only used the vacuum. A little later, I used the skimmer for The levers have to be switched, but it works fine other than that. In the past, I had another Hayward Vac that vacuumed the bottom as well as the skimmer, but I can tell you that it's much more efficient to use the vacuum only. It is supposed to be removed, as you can see in the image with the orange sticker. My plans are to do that later.
With this vacuum, I am able to clean my pool very efficiently. It is my second vacuum I own. The first one got abused by me because I didn't check the rubber feet (which need to be replaced) causing the fins to begin to wear out. Since I have owned my first Hayward vacuum for 3 years with no problems, I would most likely still be using it if I hadn't been negligent. The vacuum is great and requires very little He keeps on working every day!.
