Questions & Answers
There is no screen like the one that comes with a vacuum that will catch dead algae. As best I can describe it, it is like a small air filter around the edge
On top of the black bracket where the basket once was, there are two screws that hold it in place. Not only did I not remove it, I also did not replace it with one that came with it as well. They are the same, as far as I am concerned. Comparing the screws would be possible if the screws were removed. With the one that was already there, I haven't tried it yet. As I recall, the instructions on what to do with it were not very clear. The one that came with the unit is still here, so I am leaving it there. In the event that I do not believe it is working correctly, I will replace them.
I am not sure, we have the Dolphin Advantage and it is perfect.

For my dolphin E10, this is what I got. This is a great filter for water because it removes most of the contaminants. It was used to remove algae from the pool after it was algal. All of it was caught by this filter. This should have been part of my initial purchase, I am just disappointed that it wasn't. I agree that Maytronics made a very poor decision. A filter that should be included in the sale is being tacked on at extra cost. Because of this, the review received a 4 out of 5 star rating.
Occasionally, we experience algae blooms, and this basket is effective at straining them out after I brush the pool walls. In order to avoid disappointment, you've got to deal with It is recommended you clean it immediately after each cleaning, as per the instructions. It takes a long time to thoroughly clean it, as the fineness and a multitude of things that get stuck can make it difficult. While the soap is still wet, you need to wash it. Dry it out so that it doesn't become A little bit of money invested in this upgrade will pay off in the long run. You may as well buy the best filter basket you can afford if you are going to spend $500 on a pool vacuum.
This is a filter that I bought but have not used To understand why, consider these points Recently I purchased a Dolphin E10 and based on the reviews I decided to purchase this additional filter to go along If I had a second chance, I probably wouldn't have bought Dolphin may have upgraded the included filter with a finer screen at some point, though I am unsure of this. When I was experimenting with the Dolphin, I decided to use the filter included with it, and I've been able to pick up a lot of algae particles as well as some of the regular "pool scum" type stuff I thought this filter was supposed to catch. It would definitely improve a Dolphin with a less effective filter if you use this. Although I haven't tried it, it seems to be well made and it is well made. I believe it would increase the effectiveness of any Dolphin with a less effective filter. I, however, do not think this filter is necessary. Furthermore, because the filter is made of a material that is very similar to a pool cartridge style mesh, it will be more challenging to clean than the included model.
In the wake of my unexpected failure with my Aquabot, I bought the Dolphin pool robot last year. In order to pick up dead algae and sand in the fine filter basket, I picked up the basket. I was pleased with the results. In this year's reuse of the basket, I noticed the dead algae was not being collected. At the bottom of the pool, there was white stuff just pushed around by wind. The same thing happened when I rinsed it and cleaned it. Normally, you can just replace the panels without buying the whole basket, however Amazon was selling the entire basket for $10 more than just the panels, so I bought a whole new basket, and I'll keep my old basket for spare parts. I noticed that the new one was much more effective at picking up white stuff than the old one was. If you have a lot of leaves in the pool, I would recommend using the regular basket because when you use the fine filter basket, it doesn't pick up as much. In my opinion, both the dolphin and the fine filter basket are good so far.
Originally came with a filter that did not work well, and fine allergens gathered on the bottom. I bought this to solve the problem. Since it does not take fine allergies out, it settles on the bottom like a grey dust. Sadly, they do not tell you and you have to reseacher it and pay more to have it done. Ultimately, it does what it is supposed to. I also had to find a video online and watch it for how to remove the piece and put it back in. It's really simple once you see how to do This is accompanied by weak directions.
A filter assembly such as this one should come with a Dolphin or similar model. I had an old filter that had deteriorated and was simply passing debris through. This was the replacement I found when I went looking. Despite the fact that I feel it is expensive, I have noticed that the filter has greatly improved performance, removing very fine debris from the water. If you own any of the appropriate Maytronics models, I strongly recommend this upgrade.
As far as the Dolphin pool cleaner for above ground pools goes, we absolutely love it. Rather than having to manually clean a swimming pool, it's easier to use this system. Our goal was to make it even better by upgrading. When I did the cleaning, I was amazed at how much garbage was in that filter basket. The clean up is going to be messy since all that dirt had to be rinsed out before the filter could be cleaned A lot of water poured down on me. Still bright and sparkling in the morning, the pool looked exactly as it had the night before. The result is that nothing was left behind overnight to settle. There was not much direction in the film I have attached four photos. When I first saw it, I thought it wasn't right. It all made sense after I looked at photos and the machine for a few minutes. You need to remove a frame and replace it with a plastic part (which the kit comes with). It is not that difficult.
I vacuumed, shocked, brushed with no success, since the next day it would return. My chemical levels were perfect so I attempted to remove it by sweeping, shocking, and vacuuming. Since using this Ultra Fine pleated filter, my water has been completely algae free for 3 consecutive days, and all of the chemicals are still at optimum levels! If the weather turns colder, I will continue to use the original fine filter basket Nevertheless, I will use this method instead The summer season, which lasts from June until October here in Louisiana, is when the events take place.
