It is true. I have that. Turn it on, drop it in and then come back in 3 hours and the pool is pristine.
It makes no sense to me not to. As far as I can tell, it's doing a good job of cleaning the bottom
The Dolphin will work fine with pet hair if the normal filters are used. It's long been a long time since I saw my parents Those with long haired dogs that blow their fur into the pool (and clog the impeller motor) should not swim in the pool. A simple process for clearing Three screws are all that need to be removed. An abbreviated version of Having a furry dog, you might not have to do this as often as I do (every

It's rarely that I write reviews, but after spending $900 on a product that not only did not work but told me that I would have to return it, I had to do it. I am covered by the warranty, but I will have to pay the shipping charges to get it repaired. I find it disappointing that they claim to be the number one pool cleaner company and expect us to pay for any repair work. The issue has appeared in other reviews, and hopefully ours will be resolved soon, but it doesn't seem a whole lot of money to spend on it.
This robot cleaner has been very good so far, and I have only been using it for a week. Listed below are the top five The loading basket is easy to clean, and the filters are easily interchangeable. Installing them can be a bit clunky, but they're a nice feature all the same. Scrubbing the tile lines is next on the list. My experience has shown that there are none. There are 9 feet between me and the deep end. A robot cannot make it to the top of that steep wall with ease, and I've honestly never seen one (out of at least six you know) that can. This one not only does it with ease, but also hugs the wall as it goes down. There is a larger capacity in the basket than it was in previous dolphins I've owned but not as large as Polaris'. can easily become blocked by leaves of a size larger than the intake, so the point of capacity becomes moot. My overall impression is that it's really good. The question now is how long it will last. Sadly, my Polaris broke down within 9 months and the dealer would not honor the warranty, so I'm hoping the Dolphin is a better buy.
EDIT It started getting stuck in the deep end of the pool after just one use, so I am downgrading my review. It will now go from 1 to 1 There is only a very small spot cleaned in the deep end. It cleans up only 2 feet after that. I had owned the unit for less than 30 days when I finally got through to customer service, who was unhelpful and refused to replace the unit despite taking forever to reach me. Dolphin will never be bought by me again.
Despite what it says, it does not work. Cleans part of the pool but not all of it Only in some areas is there a water supply line. If you have steps, do not take it!.
Excellent service from Pool Supply Warehouse. Despite weeks of delays, another Amazon supplier shipped the wrong (cheaper) model and I was forced to cancel the order. I really like DX4 - it works great Went through a Winter and Spring cleaning An entire spring's worth of algae in a matter of hours. I started by filtering the algae and debris with an ultra fine filter basket. This was disappointing, since it didn't climb the walls all the way to the waterline and didn't pick up all as soon as the water cleared (solid green to clear), I switched to fine filters and the machine scraped the waterline and picked up everything. It was much better than my Polaris which was very old. In the forest, we have a swimming pool Therefore there was a great deal of natural waste. My DX4 cleaned up the swamp, so he may be named Donald. He is also made in Israel, not in There are some sideways pictures - please excuse them It was Amazon that did it. In the second image, the waterline is shown being cleaned. There's no tangling with the electric cord.
Adding a new feature is not an option. It was a good decision to upgrade from my AquaBot Elite to this Dolphin model since they tend to rate near the top in most reviews and this particular model offered many features that I wanted While both the bottom and wall can be cleaned at the same time, the app-driven system allows for easy access to the filter baskets and weekly scheduling, however there are a few important features missing. In contrast to other models, the filter basket of this model does not have a transparent cover so you cannot see when it needs to be cleaned. Each week, the Weekly Scheduling resets, so one has to program it again and again each This one is a real It's impossible for the cleaner to remember the footprints as they don't "learn" or "learn. ". Whenever the pattern is cleaned, a new one is created. A large number of pools with odd shapes will be disappointed by this decision. It is the fact that the device was DOA right out of the box that was the biggest disappointment. There is a lit on the controls, and the motor makes sounds but nothing happens. In my call with the manufacturer, the company told me that I should send it in for repair. Keeping this budget range in mind, I found it hard to believe that something of this caliber would fail. In addition, I am not the only one. The same thing happened on two other occasions. As a result, I decided to return it and just buy another one.
The DOLPHIN Proteus DX3 Automatic Robotic Pool Cleaner is the best pool cleaner I have ever used. The pool is just placed in the pool, the start button is pushed and you In general, I do not put mine on auto-clean, I just do it whenever I need it. Due to the fact that I have no trees nearby and that my pool is in full sun, my pool stays relatively clean. It takes only an hour or two to complete the cleaning. Besides giving me time to do other things, it gives me time to handle other In case you are interested in an easy way to keep your pool clean, I recommend the Dolphin Proteus DX3 Automatic Robotic Pool Cleaner. This is an excellent pool cover because it is light and has a swivel cord that makes it easy to take in and out.
I'm the only one - The following /two I would like/three It's a perfect day timer, and it has a good suction on the side walls It is easy to clean the waterline. Overall, it is an excellent product. This is a highly recommended product.
The Dolphin Supreme M3 was a part of our family for more than seven years. the DX4 ended up dying, and we upgraded to the Proteus DX4 instead. Our old Dolphin was a total waste of time. This new one worked much better. The gunite/Pebble tech pool's bottom has been sucked up much more by this pump than before. It is lighter, easier to clean, and sucks up much more moisture. My memory is a little fuzzy but it says it has a 50' line, it really is a 60' line. Also, Dolphin's systems have different names for similar machines, so I'm not sure what it is. It would be equally good to build any of these builds. We did not feel it was worth it to spend more money on the DX5i. Even though it would be nice to be able to turn it on via an app, it can still be done with a control unit just as easily.
