DOLPHIN E10 Automatic Robotic Pool Cleaner with Easy to Clean Top Load Filter Basket Ideal for Above Ground Swimming Pools up to 30 Feet

The first thing I want to say is that I read a million product reviews for a million different kinds of automatic vacuums and handhelds alike. Dolphin had better reviews than most. I'm ashamed to admit that I'm using this on a 16' Intex above-ground pool. There was a $200 charge for the pool. $250 was the price of the aftermarket pump. There were twice as many parts in this vacuum as there were in In my yard, there is a small pool beneath a tree that I don't like to cover. A cover is a pain in the ass to fiddle with all the time. Despite the Intex skimmer's shortcomings, it still did its job well. The pump does not have to run continuously, but I am not comfortable with it. I am used to working in a vacuum, so I need a decent one. A season ago I tried an Intex automatic vacuum and it worked well. However, this year it failed. It is the same with the Intex vacuum that came with the Deluxe Maintenance Kit. My two vacuum cleaners had broken after just a season, and I had been buying cheap solutions ever since. With this vacuum, it only took less than two minutes to get in the water and start working. My pool bottom was spotlessly clean in just one cycle with this machine. It is a good weight, feels sturdy, and feels well built. The water did go up some of my pool sides, no matter what people think. Some of the time it wheels The removal of the handle was simple. To do so, you simply pull the cord until you can grab it. It's easy to access the filter from the topside using a push latch. There is no difficulty in cleaning the filter. Parts disengage from the housing for easy access to the filter. I put the track back on my unit after the tracking came off. Since the track was put back on, I have not experienced any issues. The price of the solution was higher than for many other alternatives. Although my pool is now cleaner than ever, and I do not have to deal with covers, manual vacuums, pump attachments, or hoses, I do not have to clean the pool by hand. It will be ready to use as soon as you plug it in. I don't care if you are hesitant. I think it's a great unit for a swimming pool above ground. The simplicity and automation it offers makes it worth the money if you can afford it.

It is amazing how powerful this robot is! I also love how easy it is to clean! However, the cord would keep getting tangled up, so the bot thought that it was out of wire, and it would turn around, unable to reach certain corners. I have come up with a diy hack to fix the problem. You can buy inexpensive pool noodles at dollar stores. It hasn't gotten tangled up since I split it down the middle and fed in the cord.

is a great tool (when you have the fine filter on) A separate purchase is required). It is so much better than the Aquabot I bought (and returned) before buying this one. As opposed to the Aquabot cord, the cord on the Skeletoy doesn't impede the robot. There is no doubt that it The program does need to be ran more than once to reach the whole pool, but that is not a major problem. This vacuum is capable of picking up leaves, sand, hair and other particles. 1. The filter can be easily removed. To be fair to Maytronics, it's a dumb move to not include the good filter at this price. Having said that, yes, you must use a fine filter separately. Please do not bother if you don't intend to buy that as well. There is no doubt that the handle is excellent. In my opinion, for those buying their first robotic vacuum, the handle is a big deal, as you cannot lift it by the cord.

I gave it 4 stars mainly because it requires a separate fine filter, but otherwise.

In the process of buying our new home, the previous owners graciously left us their old Dolphin, which worked perfectly. We decided to get a new Dolphin after our puppy chewed the wiring about a week after getting the first one Since this one was a request from my husband, I agreed despite the negative reviews. There is nothing good about this Dolphin. In fact, it misses all but the largest debris, and it may even miss the largest debris occasionally. In the picture above you see a corner of our pool that the Dolphin consistently misses, even after a back to back to back to back (yes, actually 4) cycle of cleaning! We replaced the origin filter with an ultra fine filter basket, which held up more or less well however, it didn't significantly increase function (I don't notice any difference, my husband insists that there is a difference). I was also not able to post the first negative review I wrote to Dolphin (or whomever) - I did not meet all of the requirements of my review- It is hard to predict how many more negative reviews this product would get. Overall, I am very frustrated by the Dolphin, still have to manually clean our pool while it is running, and we will be looking for a different automatic pool cleaner to replace this one.
