It worked well and we closed the pool a few months later. A box was placed in a heated and dry area of the house for the winter storage. When I opened the pool in May 2019, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the power supply had failed. It's my warranty, I'll be able to get it fixed. Customer Service must be called and you must wait in a line for 15 minutes You wait for 25 minutes only to discover that the unit is only covered for six months after the date of purchase and that Power Supplies cannot be repaired. At all costs, stay away from purchasing this product. I paid $212 for 40 operating hours and only used it 40 times. Customer Service personnel did not appreciate the Humor of this situation. There would be only one response "Nobody is forcing you to buy another one" LOL, of course they are forcing you to buy a replacement as the alternative would be to let a $1,200 pool cleaner sit unused.
Due to the fact that I could not turn off the unit, I know the problem was with the switch. As soon as I power-up When I tried turning it back on after cycling, it did not work. This may be because the combination of sunlight and occasionally touching the button with a chlorinated finger made it uncomfortable. Whatever the case may be, it was a sealed unit, and the only way to fix it was to replace As it turned out, the new one fit right into the old case and works properly. Sadly, there is no optional power supply that can be used to keep the pool cleaner running.

The worst experience ever. Dolphoin DX5 is the camera I have. From the beginning, this car has been a lemon. I were not able to determine whether power supply was the cause of my issue in spite of both Maytronics phone support and local (Leslie pools) authorized dealer diagnosis. I have a problem with Maytronics' customer support and the I DO NOT recommend that you buy devices manufactured by Maytronics (sold under various brands).
