The first one is on the way. Although it powered on, it did not light up the control and programming side, so I returned it and ordered another. It would not even turn on when it arrived the second time. I had to return it to the store, and the restocking fee was charged. Nowhere in this description is it stated that a restocking fee would apply for products that do not function. The items you are selling are not working, and you are going to charge a restocking fee for returning them. I wonder what the fuss is all about.

Our pool has been in good shape for three years. I would do anything to get my hands on this vacuum. This year when I opened the pool to find the vacuum wouldn't work, I was in a state of panic that I would have to buy a new When I called the company who installed my equipment and who sold me this vacuum, he was unavailable. He was quoted $430 with a 1 year warranty from his supplier. With the Amazon third party, I was able to obtain a 3 year warranty for less than half the price. I was told by my supplier that Dolphin could not match the price of Amazon and that they were tired of having to deal with warranty issues. I do not understand why Dolphin will not honor the factory warranty if I purchase this product from Amazon for $200? Even though they're getting paid or at least getting a cut of my purchase, they're still getting paid. I will still have no money out of pocket if my 3 year third party warranty expires tomorrow and I had to wait a year for the factory warranty to run out because I will just buy another and have that one replaced as a backup and I will still not lose Water damage was the root cause of the problem I was having with my controller. As I was cleaning the concrete around the pool, I sprayed water on the rear of the unit and it fried the internals. It was all my fault. I got away with buying just this control module and nothing else was affected. The unit was hung from the house siding in order to keep it up and out of the way. It was also kept away from the concrete so that when I washed off the decking, the unit wouldn't get wet. Water is obviously getting into the unit during a rain shower, however it is not as obvious as a direct shot coming from the back During the winter, I bring the vacuum and the control module into the house. It would be better to get this instead of going through the original supplier if you have a vacuum unit that is out of warranty. Here's today's update I started another season on 21
. Last year, my original vacuum went out, so I had to replace it with a new one. However, I know that this control module will work with that vacuum, so I intend I had no problems with the vacuum with the old one.

This was the first year that we had to fix the motor. As a result, the power supply failed, so we had to pay to replace it as it no longer was covered Since the dolphin is out of warranty, the new power supply failed and now the dolphin will not be replaced because the power supply is a new one. NO! I am not happy.

After a few weeks, the company didn't come back. ** This product can only be used once every few weeks. There was no longer any time for it to be returned. One of our older vacuum models that we bought in 2016 has failed to function due to the power supply malfunctioning. The vacuum cord that we got with this one does not have two holes and ours has four prongs, so we gave this one a try regardless of reviews that said it would work. Power supply also allows for programmable days when you would like it to operate. Once a week, every other week, or once a third week.

Not only does it not look or function any differently from the original, but it does not appear to be more durable. As a tool as expensive as a pool cleaner, we should expect a lifetime of more than 24 month, and it should be reasonable for the power supply to be replaced for less than fifty dollars, not more than two hundred.
