Questions & Answers

Is the basket included, or are these replacement filters only?

The filters are all that is needed.

These appear to be the ultra fine, but the photos in the comments indicate that they are fine, and the one that came with the robot is see-through and garbage. Is this of the highest quality?

It's extremely fine, and it's fantastic. Personally, I purchased a second basket with ultra fine panels so that I have one with ultra fine panels and one with large debris panels. I used the large debris panel basket for the first time this year. It did an excellent job of clearing my pool of large amounts of leaves and debris at the start of the season. Next year, you should give it a shot. I thought it was pointless, just as you did!

Is it possible to purchase just the ultra fine panels to replace the basket panels that come with Dolphin Nautilus, or do I need the entire basket?

You can simply purchase the filter panels with adapter, which fit perfectly in the basket and perform admirably. The pool is immaculate. 😀

Is this going to work with the Dolphin T15?

I have the Dolphin and have purchased the refills, and they fit perfectly.

Is precisely what the new dolphin lacked

I only ordered the panels because the screen that came with the new Dolphin we bought was broken. After just one cleaning, the difference is immediately noticeable. It now collects fines to the same extent as my pool return system cartridge filter. I'm glad I decided to include this cost in the new purchase, and it would be helpful if Dolphin Maker could be selected as an option when placing an order.

It removes all of the fine grit from the pool's bottom

If you use the original filter that came with the robot vacuum, it will pick up all of the fine grit that is still left behind. I start with the original filter for the first week, then switch to the fine filter for the rest of the season, and the pool stays spotless.

It's a step up from what it came with

These are the more finely tuned filters. Those that came with the dolphin quickly disintegrated. These are more effective and easier to clean.

Filters of the highest quality These are fantastic filters! These filters picked up sand that had gotten into the bottom of our pool by accident! On alternate days, I clean the pool with my dolphin

You buy "Ultra Fine" but get "fine," according to the advertisement. You will receive exactly what is shown in the photo.

Fine sediment isn't picked up by this device

I'm not overly enthusiastic about this product because it doesn't pick up the ultra-fine sediment as well as I had hoped. Actually, I'm back to looking into other products that might be able to catch the fine sediment.
