Questions & Answers
I had this problem, and two of my four children were soaked within the first few days! There is currently no solution as to how to avoid it.
The suction power is insufficient.
Please notify the rest of us if you discover a solution. Even after scrubbing and drying the tile, it continues to slide down into the pool. What a hassle!
Yes! I purchased one set and then placed an order for a second set. They're all controlled by the same remote, which means I now have four!

I never write reviews or make videos, but after reading mixed reviews and finding very short videos on lights while searching online, I decided to write one. Heck, I was even looking for light review videos on YouTube because I want to make sure I'm getting the right product for my needs before I buy a product that has multiple brands on the same type of product with minor differences. Along with these, I purchased two more lights. It took three hours to complete everything. AAs. The other was a set of six puck cabinet lights that looked exactly like this one but weren't quite as bright. If you're looking for a bright and reliable light, this is the one to get. In my opinion, these lights deserve a lot more reviews than they currently have because I can see this product being overlooked because there aren't as many reviews as other lights. I hope that my video has been of assistance to others who have spent hours researching these types of lights and are still undecided about whether or not to purchase them.
The Chakev pool lights are fantastic. I was a little hesitant to purchase them after reading several negative reviews about water getting inside. 1st place - 3 points It's critical to firmly close the door! On the sides of the lid and base are etched lines; once tightened, continue turning until these marks line up. 2nd - They'll fit in an Intex above-ground pool just fine. Because the pool sides touch the metal poles, I didn't need the suction cups and just placed the magnet at the highest point where they meet. So even if it slid down, it would always be in contact with metal (I had two boys splashing around and the lights stayed in place). 3rd - If you still don't think it's tight enough, put it in a zip lock SNACK bag (not the sandwich size) and try again. They fit perfectly and seal with ease. I put three in a snack bag and put them through their paces. After three weeks, all but one are fully functional. Let's see how long they last through the summer.
There's a button on the remote for a smooth transition in lighting, a flash option, and 12 different light settings. You can also set it on a timer for two hours (as if that wasn't enough). 6 hours, which is ideal if you want to save battery life (each one requires three double A batteries). (not included) This is insanely cool. I would strongly suggest it and purchase it again! br>The dark blue color shown in the video is the darkest of all the colors, and the pictures do not do these lights justice; they are stunning! br>The suction power received a four-star rating from me. They hold up well, but I preferred to have mine at the bottom of the hot tub. If you're using suction cups or submerging the lights in water, make sure the light cap and battery compartment are securely fastened. Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic Fantastic.
After carefully reading and following the instructions, I received them and installed them in my pool. I double-checked that the screws were tight and that the suction cups were securely attached. br>br>The next day, I discovered all of my pool's lights. I returned them the next day and for some reason agreed to have another set sent to me instead of a full refund (everyone deserves a second chance). br>br>After fishing them out, I discovered one was completely destroyed due to water damage, and the other, while not destroyed, was also wet inside. br>br>I returned them the next day and for some reason agreed to have another set sent to me instead of a full refund (everyone deserves a second chance). br>br>I'm hoping for the worst with the replacement lights, which are supposed to arrive today (I'll try to update this review if they work as expected). br>br>Instead of submerging them again and disappointing myself, I may just use them as accent lights in my bushes. br>br>LET THE BUYER BEWARE! br>(If you read this and decide to buy these dogs anyway, you will get exactly what you deserve. ).
I'm so glad I bought this submersible LED light for my pond! It produces a bright, even light that highlights the water flowing from the fountain, and I love the color options! I can control the light from my kitchen window, which is about 20 feet away from the fish pond, thanks to the remote control! br>br>NEW ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - We contacted Customer Service because the white light was not working, and they promptly sent a replacement! I would strongly suggest it.
I felt like it was missing something, so I ordered this light, and I am completely blown away! It is unbeatable in terms of price. It took me 5 minutes to put the batteries in and put the fountain together. I use it during the day because it is extremely bright. I'm looking forward to seeing it in the dark! The suction cups do a fantastic job of keeping things in place. I am extremely pleased with the finished product. This is a must have!.
These would be fantastic if the batteries didn't die after a week, regardless of how much you used them. Because the batteries were dead in a weak the first time I put them in, I assumed I must have left it turned on. I replaced the batteries with new ones, and even though I wasn't using it, they died after a week. Because the remote is RF, I can only assume that the light's receiver is always looking for a signal. In any case, unless you plan on replacing the batteries every week, these are worthless.
