Questions & Answers

Are liquid or solid bait the only baits that will work with this? My usual bait strategy is to use bait when the gas state is present. ?

The only sample I have is solid or liquid gas bait, so I would say yes.

A mouse can eat peanuts without being caught if its bait is peanuts. Would peanut butter be in a position to resolve ?

The answer is a clear 'no'! The mice were able to completely clean each trap without setting any of the traps each night when I set 4 traps containing peanut butter and tiny bits of peanut butter. It has been going on for 3 nights now. The glue pads and two types of covered traps I ordered are of two different designs. The mice, of course! *Traps do go off when I touch something near them, but not when they clean all the bait from the traps.

Do you have any advice on how to make these so dogs or toads do not get tangled in them?

So that dogs cannot get to them, I put them in a place where they cannot reach them. In regards to toads, I cannot suggest anything. Rodents have no way to prevent other animals of similar sizes from accessing it, so I do not see any way to prevent them from doing so.

Even though I purchased a 24 pack, the bait has been stolen, and they have The sensitivity can be adjusted for smaller mice, right?

Some of the traps I've tried have been problematic for me as well. A different trap might be more effective. Furthermore, you should know the assembly process and how the trap is made. As you watch, you will see how the trap is set, but that the flap can move downward so the jaw is not triggered. The only adjustment you have to make is how you set your

I much prefer to live catch mice (I can't really blame them for looking for a warm place to live in winter). (Nevertheless, when lethal means have to be used, these traps will wound you quickly and painlessly. It turned out that we had an infestation, so I was forced to give up after catching dozens of animals. My exterminator suggested this brand of traps since I didn't want poison or glue. After putting out 24 of them, I caught 17 mice in 2 days in full view of my guests. All of their heads were completely flattened and they were likely dead immediately. My previous attempts to destroy the enemy either misfired or caused severe injuries and prolonged death. These traps are more durable, the springs are stronger, and I feel they are safer to set and move than others. As well as being easy to maintain, they are also inexpensive. They are at least a dollar each and have proven to be the most effective traps I've ever built. I also recommend peanut butter for this recipe. It is very important that you place it in the center circle or else the mouse will not be able to put its head into the hole sufficiently.

The idea of doing this really did not appeal to me
3/5

As I walked in the basement, I noticed some droppings and hoped the mice will move on, since there is nothing to eat. Afterward, a mouse ran across the floor and some droppings were seen. There was no turning back now, they had to leave. Getting some live traps worked like a charm! The mice kept showing up though, I read up on it a little. A mouse will find its way back to its home from almost a mile away, so they are worthless. I made the decision that I needed to finally eliminate the birds in the most humane way possible, and it seemed these "traps" would do the trick. That's all right. Humane is not the word to describe them. The second mouse had its body crushed, and it was dead within a couple of hours of putting 4 down. I didn't see any instant results, Other time, it had been killed cleanly just where you would expect it to be. Not at all. In spite of the fact that the animal was thrashing around and very alive, it had been caught in the trap with a head and upper body. Shovels forced me to break it up The very thing I was trying to keep away from. My house is not a safe place for mice, and I don't want to have to cave in my own head to catch them. That looks like what I'll have to do with the traps I've purchased. Feeling lousy is also part of it.

We had them for about 2 months and managed to catch 5 mice
4/5

I know there are more lurking around but did not use bait to avoid attracting bugs.
The traps I received seem to be very sensitive. I really had to take my time as I placed them I was in the restroom yesterday, and when I ran into the spike end of the toilet, a mouse was in it. Then she screamed a bit more When I ran into another bathroom 10 ft away to finish my business, it kept jumping around and bouncing around, causing a minor commotion. The shrieking started. Then less than 2 minutes later I see it jumping out of the bathroom and out into the hallway about 4 feet. and its occupant were upside down. Live and in a state of escape, it tried to get away. After walking into my bedroom nervously for five seconds with a broom and dustpan, I grabbed a broom and dustpan. When I flipped it back over, I flipped it back It has never happened to me to see such a large mouse before. The dustpan i need to sweep it up is missing, and now I'm in a panic. To my adult son, I said, "She must be pregnant , because she's huge. ". Those are too big for her, so they're going to fall It seems that she managed to get off, however her tail was still lodged of some kind.
Well, that one runs under the linen closet with the tail still attached to the overturned trap. After pulling several traps from the net, I lined them on top of the net. After being caught in one trap, she was caught in another 3 minutes later. After snatching up both traps with such a quickness, the adrenaline was still pumping even halfway through the round.
This is not something you can make Unless I had Mighty Mouse, she was on the spiked part with her entire body and nothing happened to her except me experiencing chest pain. As I didn't move the traps, I am not sure how the other 4 dearly departed passed. I have no problem taking care of live rodents, but dead ones are impossible. I am the only one to assist my son at home, so he does not assist. The good news is that he was roused from sleep at 445 in the morning. He was sitting half dazed on the toilet when I started screaming at him. The family and I had a good laugh, and I hope you all do too. However, I still recommend - despite the unforgettable experience.

The traps are excellent
5/5

What is the best method for using traps? There is a second place. The traps are excellent. What is the best method for using traps? Place two traps so that they are touching each other and facing each other. Rodents should have their own raceway that will go perpendicular to the The traps caught and killed 16 rodents in four hours. But some rodents are not caught and killed however. The pellet gun is all you need. It is cruel, but remember they are in the food chain and are usually eaten alive by predators as they are part of the food chain.

Despite its name, this trap has no snap
3/5

I’ve found them to be a complete waste of time and There does not appear to be any way to adjust the trigger pad, and I only presume it is too sensitive. The normal wooden snap-on type is made out of wood Traps continue to be successful. I have not had a snapped Jawz trap yet! It is important to note that between the wooden snap-ons there is a metal one Snap-on jawz are perfect for traps and those traps As I set traps, I use the same bait, the same locations, I use similar clusters, I setup in known traveling locations, and I use fresh gloves whenever I handle the trap to avoid imparting any "human" odors that could cause the rodent to refuse to take it. Even after all that preparation, wooden traps still snap (and catch), but Jawz traps are never My attempts to reduce friction and allow the trigger rod to move have even included applying a very light coating of pure liquid plumber's silicone to the small catch mechanism (a small plastic "lip" in the very center of the unit) to reduce friction. A lighter weight will make the pad respond better. I couldn't get anything to work. Despite that, there are a lot of positives On one side, these appear to be fine I made it. They would seem to be cost-effective if they work, as they could be reused several times and hence be cost-effective.

I hope someone else has a better experience with these than I have. At the moment, it looks like the printed material will simply be thrown away.

One of the baits was caught by the legs All baits gone, one was caught by the legs The first thing you need to know about these traps is that it is very simple to use, so that's why I purchased Nevertheless, I became aware after the first night that all the baits had been taken away, yet the mouse was still trapped
3/5

A bunch of these traps were set up around my house, and today I caught a mouse after 5 days of no baits. The poor mouse was caught by the back legs and crying in pain. It is the whole idea behind these traps that they have the advantage of killing the mouse instantly and not causing them pain as with The poor mouse had to suffer all night due to both legs collapsing In my opinion, the trap is not sensitive enough, it tends to injure the mouse rather than eliminate it, so I won't use it again.
