It repels mosquitoes for 15 feet The Thermacell Mosquito Repellent provides 15 feet of mosquito protection. Repellent refills designed to maximize the life of Thermacells are long lasting and compatible with all fuel-based models.

Is this item shipping to your address without a problem for anyone else? As well as my work, I tried my home in California. ?

Furthermore, I was unable to have my order shipped to California Thanks to the fact that I ordered the canisters at the same time as the belt and lantern, I knew to remove them all from my cart.

Three times as long as the mats that came with the MR450 portable unit, the refill mat is a plus. Are there any ways we can accommodate them?

also have the same problem, I have the original Thermacells, and these ones are three times longer than the originals. You don't want the excess to hang out, these guys are telling you! You just dry out the end of the device where the heat does not get to! Make sure they are cut to fit, and store the remainder in an airtight Leaving the ends hanging is a great idea! What a waste of time! Before buying these, I asked if they would fit my originals and got answers such as "Uh, of course they will" or "Yes, they should". Please do not leave the side of the box hanging out. It will catch on brush and other items, and will dry out if used for more than 20 minutes. BAG IT! Cut it and bag it!

If you're going to fly with these, can you accommodate them in your luggage? It is uncertain if the cartridges are approved items or whether it should matter. ?

It is small enough to fit into a carryon, but they are flammable so you may not want to take them on a plane. In any case, it would be best to check with the airline. Maybe in checked baggage, but even that is uncertain.

Is the 15 foot sturdy enough to keep up with you as you move? Would you like to hike or bike more?

In order for Thermacell products to work, a zone of protection has to be established over time. You may need as long as 15 minutes to finish.

They are too long, despite loving the product. The item I thought I bought was the wrong kind, but it wasn't. Wording on the website says good for all styles except two that I do not It is unclear what to do since there are no instructions.

There is no need to replace these pads after a few hours

This refill kit is supposed to last for 12 hours. I used one pad and it lasted about 4 hours and 45 minutes. The strip was completely white after about that time. Rather than returning this, I will purchase the pads that last four hours.

I bought these right around opening week of bow season since I had used up all my old ones. A new cartridge and mat were applied at 2pm and the system started working again. I noticed that it no longer smoked at about 6pm. There was no fuel left in the Matt and I had used up all the fuel. The product will never last as long as it is I am pretty upset about this.

The newer units are better than the older ones. A pad is now available with the same life as a butane canister. These were used by a group of us on a canoe trip in the spring at boundary waters. There were high winds on the water, so the bugs stayed in the trees to avoid them. The mosquitoes disappeared within the first 10 minutes after we turned on the mosquito repeller. My amazed reaction led me to buy The device is now used every time I go camping. The only way to get my wife out of the house is to do this.

There are no mosquitoes here! She dislikes spray repellents and has found other outdoor repellents to be ineffective so she has been trapped inside when the weather is nice to be out

I thought I'd give this product a try, and I must say that her initial reaction has been very positive. The mosquito population on her deck was actually low enough that she could read on her deck without being drained dry by swarms of insects! Thermacell is a great repellent and overall we are very pleased with it.

Looks stupid to have an extra wide pad hanging out the ends

This repeller keeps mosquitoes away from my patio. . . but with the extra long pads hanging out those kinds look idiotic! It's funny that they would market this as lasting three times longer just because these ones hang out the ends. I'll try to locate the normal-sized ones now.

Those who reside in outdoors spaces should get a Thermacell! The experience has proven to be very impressive despite my skepticism. It has been two years since I bought the lamp from WalMart, and I've been getting the replacement batteries every few months since then. Max Life seems to be an excellent product, but I'm not sure if it's really that much better.

You Have to Try It! bought this in a store because I thought it was cool and later returned it and heard someone saying it wasn't a good idea to inhale gas

I ordered this because we were eating mosquitoes alive without it! It lights our room up at night and keeps the mosquitoes away. What's the point of becoming bothered about the smell of gas when I use it outside? It's worth it, and being transportable makes it the perfect tool to take.
