Questions & Answers

What is the best way to use ?

It's alright to apply at the same time. I do that all the time. Each year I apply this product 7 to 10 days after the LAST frost (usually early to mid March in my area of NYC), that way the soil has already softened and the products can do their job, and at the same time I apply Scotts brand crabgrass prevention. As well as Emergent (which will only kill/prevent some types of weeds), I apply a broader spectrum weed n feed in order to combat most/all other types of weeds, and I apply a lawn food and soil food and overseed every After figuring out my lawn and soil, what it needs, and what works best for me, I have not been plagued with grub or carbgrass issues since about 12 years ago. I wish you the best of luck

Is that going to kill Vine Weevil grubs? Thanks. ?

The grub larvae of the following insects will be controlled by GrubbEx1 There are many types of Japanese beetle. There are Asian garden beetles, Black turfgrass ataenius, and many species of Aphodius. As well as chinchbugs, this will suppress them.

There are a lot of confusing directions On one page, it says "once a year," while on another page, it says "lasts for four months." Would you mind telling me which one it is?

By law, Scotts GrubEx can only be used once a year by the EPA. In most cases, grubs can be controlled for 4 months after application.

What will happen to earthworms if it is applied?

When applied according to label instructions, Grubbex is not harmful to earthworms, nematodes, or soil bacteria and does not pose any health risks to wildlife.

We provide preemptive insect control at a high level
5/5

I intend to disperse a 10,000 square foot bag of Scott's GrubEx1 as a one-time distribution in years when I have the capability With time-consuming application, it permanently destroys any and all grubs resting in larval state beneath my lawn and landscape, keeping the bug menaces from emerging and tearing through leaves of plants on my property. Alternatively, if I am lazy and do not stick to its application within its clearly defined parameters - The symphonic chomping of Japanese Beetles is audible on my tour of the devastation caused by my plants getting destroyed during the prescribed season. Don't expect to be able to get away with annual vacations The best of the best can be used once and then nothing Getting a good grade in class is crucial (the second week of June is ideal). Do not use it on edibles, such as fruits and vegetables, but liberally apply it over your lawn and landscape as it will not scorch them. Make sure to water the grass and soil about an inch deep. REMEMBER TO ALWAYS EXAMINE SUMMARY FOLIAGE ALL SUMMERS FOR INVADERS BORN IN THE LAWN OF YOUR NEAREST NEIGHBOR! (Has this been helpful to you? We wish you a great night.

The software just works, and if you have a grub problem, you should try it! Home Depot sold me some other stuff that didn't work
5/5

I used this stuff on my yard that had a really bad grub problem. Upon finding this on Amazon, I searched for something better for the dying grass in my yard. Do not be fooled by the appearance of the package. I should have given more attention to its weight. After spreading this in my spreader and watering it in, I checked the soil after two days and made sure that it was not overly acidic. There were a lot of dead grubs. It was worth every penny to find those grubs.

In four weeks, I haven't seen any results
3/5

The grub treatment I purchased from Amazon was my second purchase for my yard. My irrigation system was installed recently, and when I dove into the trenches, I noticed that my yard was infested with grubs. My lawn was constantly dying in large areas each year, and I could never figure out why. As a result of spending hundreds of dollars on lawn spray companies with no results, I realized that the grubs were to blame. In addition to applying GrubEx 4, I ran GrubEx 3 We planted it initially 5 weeks ago and watered it in according to our instructions. put in a second irrigation zone a couple weeks after applying the first and found the grubs to be flourishing. In order to completely eliminate them, I ordered this batch a second time. My lawn is still alive and well after my second treatment eight days ago. I checked again today and they are still there. A very discouraging development! Once again, we are back at.

I'm very pleased with the result

So far, it seems to be working I noticed mole hills and tunnels in the yard last summer, and I found them everywhere in the yard this spring. A tunnel was dug under the 50-year-old house of my mother The year is Apparently they destroyed the root system of the old lilac with their tunnels, as the lilac was perfectly healthy before (I am assuming their tunnels destroyed its root system). A large number of white grubs were found when I turned up some sod, so I knew what I needed to do. eggs, so that's why they're in my yard, as well as mine and my neighbors. My lawn guy applied this product this spring, and so far, I have only seen one or two new mole hills this spring/summer (until now), compared to over 20 previously. I plan to make this part of my yard prep in the spring and fall.

A lasting bond that cannot be broken
3/5

After I sprayed it out in the lawn, and watered it, it started to rain right away, with some amount of rain falling every day for the next week or so. I went outside after it stopped raining to see if the pellets were still sitting on the ground. Due to the severity of the weather that week, I found it odd that the sand bags had not The hose was used again to soak them. After a lot more rain over the next few days, the ice still wasn't evaporating. I can only imagine this is not going to be as effective as I wanted it to be, let alone leaving my lawn as safely as I had hoped. There are some dissolved pellets left over.

That stupid white grub that kills lawns seems to be killed off by this
4/5

That stupid white grub that kills lawns seems to be killed off by this. If you are in the market for this after your lawn has already been damaged, be sure to read the directions thoroughly. There is no point in launching an attack at that point, you will have to wait until next year. As of now, I have applied a little post damage, but I intend to go to war with those suckers There will be consequences for any grub spy who reads this.

Removing moles was made possible by the procedure
5/5

While we lived in our home for the last two years, we suffered from a mole infestation. In the spring and summer following the application of grub killer, we had a MUCH lesser problem. Its only effect is to remove the moles' food source, which does not harm them.
