We could see a dozen or so mosquitoes swarming our dogs as they stood at the back door, waiting to be let in. br>br>I got a quote from the pros, and ONE season of spraying was going to cost me the same as buying this backpack and doing it myself, so I decided to get this instead. It was, in my opinion, well worth the money! And now that year one is almost over, year two will cost me 80% less than the quote from the local pros because all I need is to buy more chemical. So, buy it and make it yourself! br>br>With Tekko and TalStar P, we had fantastic results. BTW, we live in Northern Illinois, near a creek in a wooded area, so our mosquito population was quite high, but after spraying with this pack on a three-week cycle, I'm happy to report that we are mosquito-free!.

As has already been stated, it is excellent value for money. I'm not sure how a $1200 unit could make spray any "mistier" or better atomize it. The straps are fine, but the hooks, which are sewn in, are a disaster. I have a plan to upgrade the hooks by smashing the old ones and replacing them with better ones. My main issue was that it slowed down frequently. I swapped out the plug for a better one, but it didn't make a difference, and I put in new gas and oil (50-100 gallons). 1) I'm in, and I'm not changing anything. When I removed the cap, I discovered the gas tank was pressurized. what? The breather hole is about the size of a ballpoint pen tip, and the two holes under the cap aren't much larger. I drilled all three a little larger, and now she screams all the time, which was a simple fix. br>It's a very nice machine.

I'll admit, I was a little skeptical at first. This machine, as it turned out, met and even exceeded my expectations. This is a fantastic machine for the money; however, I have yet to test it with dry good dispersal. It does, however, disperse liquids very well. The mist produced by the machine is atomized and dispersed over a large area, with a consistent atomization quality. However, I would recommend mitting more than you need when using the sprayer because it disperses quickly. The tank appears to be gravity fed due to its location, but it is pressurized, albeit in a minor way. As a result, after the tank has been loaded, make sure the lid is on tightly enough to achieve a seal. When you sprain up above your head, this pressure helps to bridge the gap between the nozzle and tank heights. Be aware that if you strain above your head, the dispersion will be less effective than if you strain at tank level and below, but it will still spray above your head at a significant distance (real world 25" to 30"). I saw some posts where people were complaining about leakage around the base of the tank, but I didn't have that experience and haven't had it yet. I've been using this machine twice a week in my Orchard for a month and have had no issues. It starts easily, runs well, and does exactly what I need it to do. br>br>I understand that there aren't a lot of ratings for this company right now. However, I must say that their customer service is quick to respond and takes immediate action in the event of an issue. Someone clearly cares about responding to emails. I had a shipping issue, and they responded within an hour of receiving my email and had resolved the issue the next day. As of September 2017, they are extremely responsive, which is why I chose to write a review.

I was pleased with the delivery of my Amazon order, which arrived the third day after I placed it, despite the fact that I am not a Prime member. It was shipped from Canada, and it arrived earlier than expected after clearing customs. It was well-protected during shipping and arrived in perfect condition. It will need to be put together. I noticed right away that all of the parts were clearly labeled when I opened the package - The best packaging and assembly instructions I've ever seen on any product, and I've put together a lot of them. Assembly was simple thanks to the clear English manual and numerous photos - It took me about 25 minutes to meticulously follow the instructions and double-check everything. I didn't have any of the problems that some other users have reported, and I thought the machine was well-designed. I double-checked that all fittings were secure and that all controls were set to the initial starting conditions (tank valve open to build pressure, start switch on, choke on, and so on). I had to consult the manual to figure out where the primer button was located. I had a minor issue getting the unit to turn on for the first time after unpacking it. An email to their support department was quickly followed by a phone call from a helpful English-speaking representative. I learned from a Canadian support tech that after priming and a couple of pulls with the choke on, I should turn the choke off and the unit would fire up within two pulls. Following that, it's been a piece of cake to get going. Because the unit is bulky and heavy (though lighter than some competing models), you should probably only use two at a time, as others have suggested. To keep the total weight down, only 5 gallons of chemicals were used at a time. br>I plan to use the unit primarily as a fogger, though it can also be used for dusting. br>br>Before choosing this fogger, I compared the features and reviews of several units. br>I've used the device three times and have been pleased with its performance each time. I like that the tank is pressurized, as this gives me a little more range when fogging up in the air, whereas most other units are only gravity fed. With a strong blower, it has a fairly long range. The feed volume can be adjusted in four different ways, but for mosquitoes, I only use the lowest setting. The fact that the unit is covered by a three-year warranty is appealing to me. Overall, I'm happy with the unit, and I'm particularly pleased with how well it has kept the mosquito population under control.
