I'm not sure what a midge is, but it worked wonders on the misquitos.
Yes. It is toxic to insects in general because it is a pyrethroid. It's also poisonous to fish and other aquatic organisms, so keep it out of fish ponds, streams, lakes, and rivers. I have a koi pond and have never had any issues with fogging.
You could try, but it will not fog. Its efficiency is based on its ability to permeate the air and kill mosquitoes. As a result, it may not be as effective when applied topically with a sprayer.

Due to the amount of smoke, the entire back and front yard was fogged (possibly including neighbors). Because the garage door opens into the backyard, it was decided to fog inside as well. I spent the entire time wearing a P100 mask. I was inside the garage putting things away 5 minutes after I finished and saw a mosquito casually fly around and land on my arm while still wearing the mask. br>br>In the garage, the smoke/fog was still present - There was no way any insect/mosquito could have survived in there long after it had dissipated from the yard. It did. br>br>I dismissed it, thinking it might have been an anomaly. Everyone heads out to enjoy the backyard 15 minutes later, complete with a swarm of mosquitoes. not mosquitoes that are still alive or are dying - Mosquitoes are landing and sucking blood in a happy and healthy manner. br>br>This product is completely useless. This is a complete waste of time and money.
There's been a lot of rain and mosquitoes lately. I sprayed the lawn and assumed I'd seen the results. They moved onto my balcony two days later. br>br> There were hundreds of them. Shooting fish in a barrel sounded like a good plan. Die! Die! Die! (expletive)br>br>So I used the fog to drown the balcony and the 100 or so mosquitoes on the ceiling. The mosquitos simply laughed at me and took a whiff, like a pervert on crystal meth. I waited. 2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 40 Time limit: ten minutes Nothing. They are unaffected in any way. Knowing they were high on meth, I simply sprayed them with a can of mosquito fogger, and they flew away like flies. br>br>I can't help but think that this fog makes them laugh. I'll put some malathion in the fogger that I still have.
It'd be better as a concentrate. For what it is, it is extremely expensive. Diesel, kerosene, or mineral oil all work well with permethrin and malathion (or nothing at all if you just want to get rid of some rats; just make sure you don't get a flashback because it's not recommended to use in or into enclosed spaces). I've even thrown in some citronella torch fuel for good measure. Mosquito Control told me that they use mineral oil when it's available, diesel as a backup, and malathion as a last resort. This would be a better product to sell as an oily poison concentrate that you can mix in with your own oil. It's similar to the way that Round- If you bought Up before it was released, it was a complete rip-off. mixed.
While reordering, I decided to read the customer reviews. I rarely read reviews, but this stuff is great and works, and I'd hate for someone to be bitten by a bug because of a few bad reviews. Negative reviews should be treated with extreme caution. Almost every negative review I've read is a result of someone misusing it or not understanding how it works. In the summer, I live in rural Virginia, in a very wet area with a lot of mosquitos. I do it myself because my property is too large for someone to fog for a reasonable price. With Black Flag, I'm using a Burgess propane flogger. You'll be disappointed if you think you'll be able to kill everything while fogging. We fog on still nights just after dusk, when the mosquitos are out and about, so I fog the hell out of my front and back decks (as well as underneath where they hide), then fog in layers up to 100 feet away from the house. The mosquitos will be visible for the next three days or so, but then they will vanish for two days. 3 weeks. I have to repeat the treatment within days at least once a year, but for the majority of the summer, I only treat once every three weeks, and we have almost no mosquitos. It worked so well that each of my neighbors bought the same foggers and liquid, and we coordinate fogging with one another for maximum effect. I was skeptical at first, as were my neighbors, but this stuff has completely changed how we enjoy and use our yards during the summer. I'm sure my dogs feel the same way!.
Let me begin by saying that we had a *severe* mosquito problem in our backyard, and because I'm a cheapskate, I bought a fogger and other miscellaneous items in an attempt to fog the mosquitoes. It would keep them away for a couple of hours, but they'd return. We finally decided to hire a professional service to spray every few weeks, and it worked out much better.
This is the most cost-effective brand. Fantastic use of fog. This is an excellent product for providing temporary insect relief during events or parties (apply before guests arrive!). br>When combined with other mosquito control measures, such as ensuring that all standing/stagnant water is treated or disposed of, this product can be effective in eradicating the majority of mosquitoes in a fairly large area (1-acre). 3 acres). Foggers, on the other hand, are a temporary fix. Use it nightly for a week or so to get rid of all standing water and to treat your grass and shrubs during the day, and you'll be fine! The higher-priced brands do not perform any better! This is an excellent deal!.
This dry fog bug killer works well on mosquitos, but not so much on the little gnats that are hatching in droves this year, presumably due to our flooding problems. Gnats and black flies can drive a person insane because they fly into your ears and eyes like no seeums; all you have to do is put some essential oil on.
In a sprayer, no way. This is the working fluid for the mosquito fogger with a propane burner. The fogger is generally very effective, but finding a day to use it in eastern Oklahoma, where the wind is too strong, can be difficult. If the wind blows away the fog, it won't be able to do its job. To the user, the liquid appears to be harmless. The wind will blow the fog where you don't want it, even if staying out of it is advised. I've been 'fogged' several times with no negative consequences, but it's not recommended. For the past 15 years, I've used the Black Flag mosquito fogger and highly recommend it for enjoying your outdoor spaces.
