Update 7/18/21 For years, my yard has been plagued by mosquitoes, and last year I hired a professional mosquito service. They had to make additional trips because the bites were still present, despite the fact that they were significantly reduced. This unit, complete with propane tanks and poison, cost less than one treatment from one of the professional companies who serviced my 1 1/3 acre yard, and it works even better! Since my first application in June, no one in my entire family has been bitten! For slightly less than one home treatment from the big name companies, I bought this fogger, a Black Flag 32 oz insect fogger, and three propane bottles. With one 32 oz insect fogger and about half of the first bottle of propane, I was able to complete three thorough treatments. This is by far the best investment I've made in 2001! Every seven-day period has been fogged by me. Professional companies charged me $99 every two weeks for my yard, and I had to have them out three times last year to reapply (holding them to their guarantee) because my family and I were still being bitten. I strongly advise you to use an N95 mask. When applying the product, wear goggles or safety glasses. Shower afterward, or apply in long sleeves and long pants if possible. (It's just me, but I think you should wear PPE!) ) I highly recommend this product; it has worked flawlessly for me so far, despite the fact that I have only had it for a month. But, for the past 20 years, mosquitos have been particularly bad at this time of year, and since purchasing and applying this product, I have been able to work in or enjoy my yard without being bitten!.
It's a pain in the neck to light this unit. It's a mess, and it doesn't seem to get hot enough when it does work. I'm not sure if that's how this unit works, or if I have a faulty one. This unit, unlike others I've had in the past, does not meet my expectations.
The item is brand new and has never been used. This weekend, 8/12/2017, I started the burner according to the instructions. The pumper in the handle was difficult to compress right from the start. To compress it 1/4 to 1/2 inch, I needed both hands. A smidgeon of fog would occasionally emerge, but for the entire 20 minutes I had it on, all I saw was a thin ribbon of smoke trailing from the end. The troubleshooting instructions called for disassembly, contacting the manufacturer, and not returning it to the store where you bought it (Amazon?). I had to borrow my neighbor's fogger, which was of a different brand. Although this product received positive feedback, I was disappointed with my purchase. br>I was planning to return the liquid Black Flag 190255 fogger, but I just read the amazon return policy, and the return deadline for this product was a month ago.
Allow at least two or three minutes for the trigger to warm up before pulling it. This is a fantastic device that works flawlessly. It reminds me of the old mosquito foggers that the city used to have.
I thought this was a fantastic product, and I used it to get rid of mosquitos in our backyard before a party. You must wait for it to warm up for a few minutes before pumping the trigger and allowing the fogging to begin. It did a fantastic job under the deck and in the landscaping bushes. It produces a lot of fog, but it goes away after a few minutes. Also, make sure you're fogging with the wind, as this will help it get deeper into the foliage.
A single squirt produces a very small amount of fog. As a result, increasing the amount of fog to a manageable level necessitates multiple trigger pulls. Unfortunately, due to the tool's design mechanics, rapid/successful trigger pulls are not possible - The rapid succession of trigger pulls is prevented by a few seconds of waiting, effectively putting this strategy to rest. Poor engineering and a low-cost product; my fault for not spending more money on a better design and a higher-quality product. made-to-order design/brand/model This product is not something I would recommend.
It does a fantastic job of keeping the bugs away while we enjoy the great outdoors.
This is a complete and utter piece of garbage. This is a warning not to purchase this faulty junk. This would never turn on or stay turned on. Turning the propane on and lighting it is a very simple procedure. However, it was not able to maintain its light. I contacted tech support, who informed me that it was defective and that I should return it; however, I had missed my return window. That is entirely my fault. However, it's clear that Black Flag slapped their logo on the cheapest, most poorly constructed piece of gear they could find. Nothing else should be purchased.
