Questions & Answers

Is it safe to leave the house after using the fogger for an extended period of time?

I believe the instructions state 4 hours, but I've always followed up two weeks later to catch the eggs and leftovers, as directed by my neighbor who worked for Terminix for many years.

Is there a film left after this?

All of these "bombs" leave both visible and invisible residue. However, Bengal leaves fewer residues than most, so make sure to clean counters, pet bowls, and other surfaces. I've used Bengal for years, but it didn't work for fleas in New York. In Texas and Florida, I had a great deal of success.

When can you re-enter the area after the bomb has gone off?

It is recommended that you leave the area for at least 2 hours and then return after 30 minutes to allow the area to ventilate. They leave no odor behind - But, if they're ineffective, isn't that a bad thing?

Is it possible to use this in an apartment without bothering the other residents?

You might want to ask your neighbor to do it at the same time as you so that you can all get rid of them together. I live in a condo and my neighbors didn't say anything to me about the smell, and I didn't ask to be honest.

In the instructions, there is a significant omission
3/5

Good: It appears to be working so far (two days). br>br>Contrary to popular belief, The type of aerosol propellant used was not specified in the product information. Normally, this would not be a big deal, but since Freon's demise in the 1990s, many aerosol products have used highly flammable and/or toxic gases as propellant. Yes, I followed the instructions to the letter, turning off all fire and spark sources. In any case, I'd like to know ahead of time if I'm going to be filling my house with an extremely explosive or toxic mixture. ugliness: br>br>ugliness: br>br>ugliness: br>br So I prepared the house for fogging, made plans to transport the dog and myself somewhere else, set up the cans, activated the first one, and dashed downstairs to activate the other two. And every smoke alarm in the house went off as I got halfway down the stairs. I ended up doing a mad dash around the house pulling plugs and batteries while the house filled with toxic mist because there was no obvious way to shut down the spray (I played with it afterward and I'm still not sure it could be shut down without breaking the nozzle), so I went over the instructions VERY carefully afterward. There is no mention made of the very real need to disable all smoke alarms before fogging. After that, my eyes hurt for a few minutes, but there was no lasting damage. Whatever the case may be, I'm not impressed. br>br>Bottom line: Of course, the most important question is whether or not this stuff works. It appears to have done some good at first glance, but it will take a few days to see if the fleas that prompted the purchase have vanished. If this is the case, I will raise my rating. For the time being, I'll deduct one star for the missing product content list and two stars for the unpleasant surprise I received when I first started using the foggers. br>br>Recent changes (1/4/17): The fleas have infested both the hound and the house. free, and it appears that the populations of spiders and house centipedes have been drastically reduced, which is a nice bonus. I'll probably buy it again now that I know to turn off the smoke detectors before using it. Now it's three out of five stars for product effectiveness.

The absolute best of everything
5/5

This is a 5-star product; you must purchase the gold brand, which I discovered while on vacation in Florida and purchased. It lasts 6 to 8 months on average. It should be sprayed on baseboards, door thresholds, and behind and under beds, among other places.

Nothing compares to this stuff
5/5

The only insect spray I use for everything. I like how effective it is and how long it lasts (at least 6 months).

It does nothing at all- Attempted on several occasions When I first moved into my apartment two weeks ago, I noticed a variety of bugs that the product claimed to kill
3/5

In an 800 square foot apartment, I set off two foggers. Roaches, flies, house flies, and other pests were not killed. nothing. After two weeks of meticulous cleaning, removing all paper, clutter, and cardboard from the apartment, and never storing food in it- Two more were triggered by me. Nothing has changed. When I returned to the room, mosquitos were hovering over the trash can, and roaches ran alongside it on the floor. True, there isn't any unpleasant odor - That's all there is to it.

The product isn't as good as some of the reviews claimed
5/5

I hate to say it but 50% did not help. Small roaches are still 'visiting', which is a bug problem. Never had a major daily issue, but the next day discovered some 'visitors' who just lingered and refused to leave! However, it is simple to use. I despise wasting money by believing what advertising claims about a product's capabilities. & That's not how it works out!.

This is one of the best products you can buy if you need to get rid of those pesky cockroaches
5/5

I simply did not order enough cans; do you want one or two cans per room, depending on the size of the room? As a result, I had to repurchase my tickets and retreat once more.

This is a waste of time! Doesn't work in the least! It wasn't even discovered by a single dead body! The roaches continued on their way as if nothing had happened

They do the job
5/5

Flea collars and products are available for our pets. But, over the years, we've had a few ticks. We get rid of spiders, fleas, ticks, mosquitoes, and ants whenever we have a problem with them. It starts working right away and continues for months.
