The money was well spent

I've bought a lot of flyswatters over the years, and I've recently had a problem with hornets when I feed my outside cats because I got some outside cats. I've shattered every flyswatter I've ever owned, from the wire handle to the rubber and plastic. I even bought the telescopic ones with the "metal" handles, but they didn't last very long. This one, on the other hand, is absolutely fantastic. Because they have screws and a thick wooden handle, they must be used with caution when swatting flies around screens, windows, and anything else glass or expensive. Otherwise, it was ideal for the task at hand. I'm sure I've killed 20 or more people. You'd think after 30 hornets every morning and evening that I'd have wiped out the colony, but more keep coming, and this swatter hasn't let me down. I bought a second one for inside the house and as a backup in case I misplaced the first one during feeding time; hopefully, this information will be useful to someone who is considering purchasing one.

The leather flap sits on one side of the dowel, so one side is a little more functional. I like the construction of this; it appears to last a long time. The leather's weight adds to the pleasure of swatting. br>br>My heroic efforts have had an unintended consequence: my cats have noticed me. They are now assisting in the fight against the winged menace.

I only got two bags of hardware to put together for a three-pack. The fact that you had to put it together yourself wasn't mentioned in the product description.

I was disappointed to discover that the wooden handle had broken. The slapper functions properly, but the wood at the rivets has snapped off.
