There are three of these in this set. green, blue, and orange are some of the colors that come to mind. It's nice to have several in a house or large area. However, I live in an apartment, so there will be no upstairs/downstairs for the time being (I'll do it later). The orange one will be given to a friend, while the blue and green ones will be hung together, which will look stylish. They're the ones who bring us the most flies. br>br>Having the 'dust' pan is a nice bonus. Even if the sweeper part does not work for you, you can move bugs into it in any case. It does have flex, as well as a sturdy handle. br>br> br>br>I bought these for the style, as well as the fact that my mother had (and still has) a similar pair from at least ten years ago. I'm hoping for a similar level of longevity. If anything changes, I'll let you know.
It's difficult to write a fly swatter review, but I felt compelled to do so because I have strong feelings about it. These swatters are, in my opinion, too stiff. I tried balancing an apple on both of them to see how different they were from my favorite swatter. These are strong enough to hold an apple and don't flex much. One will not be supported by my favorite swatter. The handle is only 11 inches in length. The fact that it's 5" long probably contributes to its rigidity. They work fine, and I can usually hit my target first time, but the fancy leaf shape reduces the kill surface. They're stylish, and the small dustpan that comes with them will come in handy when swatting stinging insects. However, they lack the "zing" and snap of my old favorite fly swatter. Overall, it's not the best option for those looking to do some serious bug slaying.
When it comes to fly swatters, I'm very picky, so when a friend recommended these to me, I was very excited. In a fly swatter, what do I look for? 1. br>br> Quick reaction time - The head of a fly swatter must react quickly when I start swinging it, or else the fly will be gone by the time the head arrives to do its job. The swatter bends and delays the swing when it has a flimsy handle or arm, but this swatter's handle and arm are perfect in stiffness and response, allowing the head to reach its target as quickly as possible. 2. br>br>1. br>br>br>br>br>br Perforations in the tops of the heads - The head must have enough perforations to prevent you from pushing air into your swing and slowing it down. There are a lot of perforations on this swatter, so you won't feel any resistance while swinging it. 3. br>br>4. br>br>5. br>br>6. Endurance is a term used to describe the ability to keep going. The swatter's plastic is thick, sturdy, and one piece, so it won't bend or deform like many other swatters I've used in the past. br>br>The fly sweeper and dust pan are also useful, with the dust pan snapping onto the arm for safe storage and quick access. br>br>It's a fantastic fly swatter that I highly recommend!.
This is an excellent concept, but it requires some improvement before it can be rated five stars. I was in town to see my relatives. For some reason, there were a ridiculous number of flies, which I never figured out. I had a swatting frenzy. Their patio was littered with their bodies. This product was something I could have used at the time. It piqued my interest, and I was eager to give it a go. Trying to smack flies with it is awkward for me. As others have stated, I can see it disintegrating. They should be made out of a silicone-based material, in my opinion. That, I believe, would aid in the flexibility of the leaf design. I'd buy them for all of my friends. br>I'm hoping the design improves because it's a fantastic idea that just needs a little polishing to turn into a fantastic product.
These were purchased to help with a spotted lantern fly infestation in Pennsylvania, and they were incredibly effective at killing them. Swatters are sturdy, but the built-in bristles broke from the ferocious killing of lantern flies on fence posts, tree trunks, light poles, and other structures. I'm sure the bristles would be fine for normal household killing.
Years ago, I bought one of these sweaters at a local store. This summer, we've had a terrible fly problem, so I went on the hunt for a solution. On Amazon, I discovered them. These swatters have a long handle, a hood-sized swatting surface, and a small "dustpan" to sweep up the mess are far superior to any alternative, and the bright colors and leaf-shaped swatter head make it as appealing as a swatter can be. This product is extremely long-lasting and is unquestionably a good buy.
My original swat, I believe, was still with me. I broke the tip off of my sweep flyswatter (getting a little too enthusiastic chasing a fly) when we moved into this house over 25 years ago, and I figured I'd never be able to find another. When I saw it on Amazon, I was ecstatic and immediately ordered the entire set. Now I don't have to go downstairs to get the fly swatter if the flies get upstairs. It's extremely durable, and because it's made entirely of plastic, it's easy to clean.
